The display above Manchester Cityâs Etihad Campus showed the Oasis logo before switching to â14.09.26â and â4pm BSTâ, giving fans the clearest signal yet that Liam and Noel Gallagher are preparing to unveil plans for 2027.
Reports have linked the band with major runs at Manchesterâs Etihad Stadium, Glasgowâs Celtic Park and Knebworth, alongside possible European and US shows. But one point remains important: the September 14 announcement is confirmed, while the individual 2027 dates and ticket details are not yet official.
Manchester drone show puts Oasis 2027 plans in focus
The Thursday-night display took place above the Joie Stadium area of the Etihad Campus, close to the Etihad Stadium.
The drone formation was reported to stretch around 120 metres and remained visible for several minutes, attracting attention from people around the stadium district and fans leaving nearby Co-op Live.
The location immediately strengthened speculation over a major Manchester residency. Liam and Noel Gallagherâs connection to the city is central to the Oasis story, while both brothers are closely associated with Manchester City.
Etihad Stadium could host a huge run
Industry reports have suggested Oasis could play as many as 12 nights at the Etihad Stadium in 2027.
A recent teaser video added fuel to that theory. It featured football imagery, a blue-moon reference and a tally that reached 11 before another goal was scored â details fans interpreted as a possible clue toward 12 Manchester shows.
Reported schedules have suggested the Etihad run could begin in early June and continue through late June. Those dates remain unconfirmed.
Celtic Park could open the UK leg
Glasgow has also featured heavily in the bandâs cryptic campaign.
One teaser set in a Scottish-style chip shop contained clues that fans linked to Celtic Park. Reports have since suggested Oasis could play five shows in Glasgow beginning May 22, 2027.
One reported date, May 29, would fall on Noel Gallagherâs 60th birthday, adding another layer of interest to the possible Celtic Park run.
The reported dates have not yet been formally announced by Oasis.
Knebworth return would carry major history
Knebworth is another venue at the centre of the speculation.
Oasis played two landmark concerts there on August 10 and 11, 1996, attracting around 250,000 fans across the weekend.
Reports now suggest the band could return for as many as six Knebworth shows in September 2027. If confirmed, the concerts would come 31 years after one of the defining moments of the Britpop era.
Reports point to 23 UK shows
The reported UK plan currently adds up to:
- 5 shows at Celtic Park
- 12 shows at the Etihad Stadium
- 6 shows at Knebworth
That would mean 23 UK concerts in total.
Interest in major 2027 tour plans is already building, with Harry Stylesâ reported 2027 tour dates and ticket plans also drawing attention from fans preparing for another busy stadium season.

Europe and the US could be next
Recent Oasis teasers and reports have also linked the band with Paris, Munich, Amsterdam, Barcelona and Rome.
Boston and Las Vegas have also appeared in speculation surrounding another North American leg.
No official dates have been confirmed for any of those cities, so fans should be cautious about unofficial ticket or travel listings appearing before Mondayâs announcement.
Tickets will be one of the biggest questions
No official 2027 ticket prices, presale details or general-sale date have been released.
Demand is expected to be intense after the scale of the 2025 comeback. The bandâs official Oasis Live â25 schedule shows how the reunion expanded from Cardiff into a major international tour before ending in SĂŁo Paulo in November 2025.
The previous sale also triggered controversy after some fans saw ticket prices rise from around ÂŁ148 to ÂŁ355 while trying to buy seats.
That experience means pricing, presales and queue rules will be watched closely if the 2027 tour is confirmed.
Live â25 changed expectations around Oasis
Oasis split in 2009 and spent years apart before reuniting for Live â25.
The comeback developed into a 41-show international run and reportedly sold more than 2.2 million tickets, underlining the scale of demand for another tour.
Major live-music disruption has also kept fans focused on ticket and travel risks, including the recent AC/DC Toronto concert cancellation, which highlighted how quickly plans can change for stadium audiences.
September 14 is the date fans can trust
For now, the strongest confirmed detail is simple: Oasis have told fans to watch September 14 at 4pm BST.
That announcement is expected to reveal whether the reported Etihad, Celtic Park and Knebworth plans are accurate â and, most importantly for fans, when tickets will finally go on sale.
