Baby Keem Drops ‘Ca$ino’ Album With Kendrick Lamar Feature and Documentary Release

Baby Keem is back rolling the dice on a new era. On February 20, the Las Vegas native released Ca$ino, his first full-length project since 2021’s The Melodic Blue—and he’s pairing the drop with a deeper look into the story behind the music.

Across 12 tracks, Ca$ino brings a tight, high-stakes feel, with Keem linking up with Kendrick Lamar, Too Short, Momo Boys, and Che Ecru for a run of collaborations that blend West Coast roots with modern edge.

Inside the ‘Ca$ino’ documentary

Alongside the album, Keem released a multi-part Ca$ino documentary on YouTube that pulls fans into the studio sessions and the emotions behind the project. One standout moment shows Keem working with Kendrick on “Good Flirts”, capturing the creative chemistry in real time.

Kendrick Lamar on family history and generational pressure

Part one shifts from music-making to background and context, featuring Keem’s family members and Kendrick reflecting on the environment that shaped the 25-year-old artist. Kendrick speaks openly about the hardships Keem’s mother faced and the broader family history—touching on Section 8, welfare, and the psychological weight of trying to break repeating cycles.

On “Good Flirts,” Kendrick brings a sharp, uneasy energy that mirrors the album’s theme of risk versus reward—questioning what’s real, what’s performative, and what’s hiding under the surface of a crowded room.

From ‘The Melodic Blue’ to a high-stakes follow-up

Keem’s debut The Melodic Blue (released in September 2021) became a breakout moment, peaking at No. 5 on the Billboard 200. A deluxe edition arrived in October 2022 with guest assists from Lil Uzi Vert and PinkPantheress, keeping his momentum alive while fans waited for the next full project.

After a long gap, Ca$ino doesn’t try to replay the debut. Instead, it leans into a more deliberate tone—bigger swings, heavier context, and a clearer sense of identity.

The Ca$ino Tour dates and cities

Keem is also taking the new album on the road. Produced by Live Nation, The Ca$ino Tour opens in North America on April 15 in Raleigh, NC, then hits major stops including Los Angeles, New York, Montreal, Dallas, and Atlanta, before closing out on June 7 in Boston, MA.
