Jet2 Launches 30 New Summer 2027 Routes – Full List of New Destinations Across Europe and Egypt

Jet2 is widening its Summer 2027 programme with 30 new routes, giving UK holidaymakers more ways to reach Greece, Egypt, France, Spain, Croatia and Jersey from regional airports.

The expansion adds fresh capacity from major bases including Birmingham, Manchester, London Stansted, Edinburgh, East Midlands, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Bristol, Bournemouth and London Gatwick. For travellers, the move means more choice beyond the usual peak-season routes, with a mix of beach breaks, island escapes and city trips now being lined up for next summer.

Three destinations stand out in the latest expansion: Thassos in Greece, served via Kavala, and the Egyptian Red Sea resorts of Hurghada and Sharm el Sheikh. These additions point to where Jet2 sees strong demand: warm-weather holidays, package bookings and destinations that appeal to families, couples and winter-sun travellers as well as summer passengers.

Greece, Egypt and Jersey lead Jet2’s 2027 push

Greece remains a major focus in the new schedule. Jet2 is adding routes to Chania in Crete, Mytilene in Lesbos, Skiathos and Kavala for Thassos. These are destinations with strong leisure appeal, but they also help the airline spread demand across more Greek islands rather than relying only on the busiest resort airports.

Egypt is another big part of the plan. New services to Hurghada and Sharm el Sheikh will give more UK passengers access to Red Sea resorts known for beaches, diving, coral reefs and all-inclusive holidays. The airline’s wider Egypt push comes as demand for reliable sunshine destinations remains strong among British travellers.

Jersey is also getting a notable boost. Jet2 has already confirmed new flights from Birmingham, Bristol and Manchester, adding to its wider Channel Islands programme for Summer 2027. The airline says the expansion means Jersey holidays will be available from six UK airports, giving travellers more flexibility for shorter breaks closer to home. More details on Jet2’s new destinations are available through the airline’s official Jet2holidays new routes page.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said the Jersey expansion gives customers and independent travel agents a wider selection of destinations to book ahead for summer holidays. He said weekend and midweek flights would offer more opportunities to visit the island in 2027.

The planned routes include Birmingham to Bergerac, Hurghada, Jersey, Kavala and Sharm el Sheikh; Bournemouth to Reus; Bristol to Jersey; East Midlands to Paris Charles de Gaulle, Hurghada and Sharm el Sheikh; Edinburgh to Chania, Pula, Sharm el Sheikh and Skiathos; Glasgow to Hurghada; Leeds Bradford to Hurghada and Sharm el Sheikh; London Gatwick to Mytilene; London Stansted to Almeria, Hurghada, Kavala, La Palma, Paris Charles de Gaulle and Sharm el Sheikh; and Manchester to Bergerac, Jersey, Hurghada, Kavala, Sharm el Sheikh and Paris Charles de Gaulle.

The announcement also comes after Jet2 reassured customers over jet fuel supply concerns, saying it was preparing for a busy summer and would not add fuel surcharges after customers book. For passengers, the practical benefit is clear: more departure airports, more holiday destinations and more chances to plan early for Summer 2027. For Jet2, the 30-route expansion signals confidence that demand for package holidays, regional airport flying and Mediterranean-style breaks remains strong.
