Lollapalooza 2026 reaches its final day at Chicago’s Grant Park on Sunday, Aug. 2, with Tate McRae, the xx, Turnstile and The Chainsmokers leading a packed closing schedule. The four-day festival began July 30 and includes more than 170 artists across eight stages.
For Sunday visitors, the most useful details are the performance times, stage conflicts, livestream schedule and changing weather conditions. All in-person set times below are listed in Central Time.
Lollapalooza Sunday Headliner Times
Tate McRae is scheduled to begin at 8:45 p.m. on the T-Mobile Stage. At the same time, English indie band the xx will perform on the Bud Light Stage, with its set running from 8:45 p.m. until 10 p.m.
This direct clash means fans will not be able to watch both closing performances in full. The two stages are positioned on different sides of Grant Park, so changing locations during the sets may take additional time in the evening crowd.
The Chainsmokers are scheduled for 8:30 p.m. on Perry’s Stage, creating another major choice during the festival’s final hours.
Major Sunday Performances
Before the headliners, Turnstile will perform from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the Bud Light Stage. Beabadoobee is scheduled for 6:45 p.m. on the T-Mobile Stage, while Aespa begins at 7:45 p.m. on the Allianz Stage.
Other notable Sunday sets include MUNA at 4:45 p.m., YOASOBI at 5 p.m., Jade at 5:45 p.m., Hot Mulligan at 6 p.m. and Duke Dumont at 5:45 p.m. The full program starts around midday, depending on the stage.
Fans should use the official Lollapalooza schedule or the Festiverse app before travelling to Grant Park. Organizers updated Saturday’s timetable during the festival, showing that saved screenshots may no longer reflect the latest running order.
How to Watch Lollapalooza Online
Selected performances are streaming live through Hulu and Disney+ on two channels. Sunday coverage begins at approximately 4:05 p.m. Eastern Time, or 3:05 p.m. in Chicago.
The scheduled Sunday broadcast includes MUNA, YOASOBI, Duke Dumont, Aespa, Tate McRae and the xx on one channel. The second channel features Amber Mark, Jade, Beabadoobee, Turnstile and The Chainsmokers.
Livestream times are different from the artists’ actual Grant Park stage times because some performances are shown with a delay. The streaming lineup includes selected acts rather than every set taking place across the eight stages.
Weather and Festival Safety Update
Rain and thunderstorms affected parts of the Chicago area on Saturday, while the National Weather Service expected conditions to improve during Sunday afternoon. Gusty northeasterly winds were still possible, and dangerous swimming conditions were forecast along Lake Michigan beaches.
Festivalgoers should continue checking official alerts because outdoor schedules can change in response to lightning, heavy rain or other safety concerns. Comfortable footwear, a permitted rain poncho and sufficient water remain practical items for a full day inside Grant Park.
What Happened Earlier at Lollapalooza
Thursday featured Lorde and John Summit, followed by Charli xcx and The Smashing Pumpkins on Friday. Olivia Dean and JENNIE led Saturday’s program before attention moved to Sunday’s final performances.
John Summit will return to Australia later in the year as one of the leading names on the Wildlands Festival 2026 lineup, alongside Skepta, WORSHIP, KI/KI and Disco Lines.
The combination of major pop, rock, electronic, indie and K-pop acts contributed to strong early demand for Lollapalooza 2026 festival passes. The final day now centres on three overlapping closing sets, making advance stage planning especially important.
