- 6.6% failed at least two compulsory exams and must wait until a future examination session.

Collecting your Matura certificate
Publishing online results is only one part of result day. Graduates can also collect their official Matura certificate and transcript from their school beginning July 8.
Schools generally ask students to collect documents from the school office and sign confirmation that they have received them. Graduates should bring a valid identity document.
If a student cannot attend in person, another adult may collect the certificate provided they have written authorization from the graduate.
Missing collection day does not affect the validity of the certificate. Schools will continue to store the documents, allowing graduates to collect them later during office hours.

What happens if you did not pass?
Not every unsuccessful result has the same consequence.
Students who failed only one compulsory examination remain eligible to sit the August resit, provided they complete the required formalities within the deadlines announced by their school.
Candidates who failed two or more compulsory subjects must wait until the next examination cycle before attempting those exams again.
Students who believe their marks require further review should first examine the detailed scoring available in ZIU before discussing possible review or appeal procedures with their school.
