McDonald’s Australia has officially launched its new Grinch Meal, a festive combo that looks like Christmas and tastes like summer holidays gone rogue. Customers can pick a Big Mac, Chicken Big Mac, or a 10-piece McNuggets meal, complete with fries, a drink, and — more importantly — the star of the show: the “Frozen Fanta Lemon ruined with Green Apple Popping Pearls.”
Yes, “ruined.” Macca’s said it, not us.
The limited-time Grinch Meal, rolled out on 19 November 2025, also comes with one of four collectible Sand Globes featuring The Grinch, Grimace, Hamburglar, or Birdie. Early buyers report that adults are “accidentally” choosing the kids’ toys… for collection purposes, of course.
On social media, people are calling it the “most unhinged summer drink Macca’s has created so far” — which honestly makes it perfect for Australia in November.
But then came the heartbreak: goodbye World Menu Heist favourites
While Aussies were busy popping green pearls, McDonald’s quietly took a wrecking ball to the World Menu Heist range. That means beloved global items like:
- Pineapple McSpicy (Australia’s pride)
- Maple BBQ & Bacon Double Quarter Pounder
- Garlic & Black Pepper McNuggets
- Choco Caramel Pie
- Sakura x Sprite
- And more fan favourites
The internet did not take the update gracefully. One Reddit user said the lineup was “so good it ruined their ability to enjoy normal fries again.” Another claimed the Pineapple McSpicy was “the only thing getting them through the week.” On X, a fan joked that the World Heist menu “should’ve been protected by international law” because of how quickly it vanished.
Even the Fish Finger Happy Meal has been quietly retired — truly, no one is safe this festive season.
