The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo has officially revealed its 2026 RodeoHouston entertainment lineup, confirming three weeks of major live concerts at NRG Stadium from March 2 through March 22, 2026.
The announcement was made Wednesday during a live event in Times Square, New York City, sparking immediate excitement among fans across Texas and beyond.
Nine Artists Making Their RodeoHouston Debut
One of the biggest highlights of the 2026 rodeo season is the introduction of nine first-time RodeoHouston performers. The debut list includes Russell Dickerson, Lizzo, Creed, Megan Moroney, Forrest Frank, Shaboozey, Pepe Aguilar, The Red Clay Strays, and Koe Wetzel.
RodeoHouston organizers say the lineup balances long-time fan favorites with breakout stars, reinforcing the event’s reputation as one of the most diverse live-music showcases in North America.

Cody Johnson Set to Close RodeoHouston 2026
The 2026 rodeo will close with a rare full-length concert from Texas native Cody Johnson on March 22. It marks only the fourth time RodeoHouston has featured a standalone finale concert, following historic performances such as George Strait’s 2022 show.
How to Get RodeoHouston 2026 Tickets
Individual RodeoHouston tickets will go on sale to the public on Thursday, January 15, released in two waves at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. local time.
Ticket prices start at $30, plus a $5 per-ticket convenience fee. Tickets for Cody Johnson’s performance went on sale earlier in August 2025, while all remaining shows will be available during the January ticket release.
