What Is Daily Lotto?
Daily Lotto is a South African National Lottery game where players select five numbers from 1 to 36. The lottery then draws five numbers from the same range. To win the jackpot, all five selected numbers must match the drawn numbers.
If no player matches all five numbers, the jackpot does not roll over but instead rolls down to the next prize division, ensuring prizes are always paid out.
What Is Daily Lotto Plus?
Daily Lotto Plus is an additional game that can only be entered once a Daily Lotto ticket has been purchased. It costs approximately half the price of a Daily Lotto entry and uses the same chosen numbers.
Importantly, Daily Lotto and Daily Lotto Plus each have their own separate draws, offering players two chances to win in a single day.
How To Play Daily Lotto and Daily Lotto Plus
To participate, players must select five numbers between 1 and 36. There are multiple ways to enter:
- Choose your own numbers by marking them on a Play Slip or selecting them online.
- Use the Quick Pick option, where the system randomly selects numbers.
- Ask a retailer to enter your chosen numbers directly at the terminal (up to 20 boards/lines allowed).
- Play your numbers for 1 to 10 consecutive draws in advance.
Players must first play Daily Lotto before adding Daily Lotto Plus to their entry.
