Stratford will receive a long-awaited boost to its transit connectivity as daily GO train service to and from Toronto is set to begin on July 6, marking a significant expansion of regional rail access in southwestern Ontario. The new service will connect Stratford directly with Torontoâs Union Station on a daily basis. On weekdays, trains will depart Stratford shortly after 6 a.m., arriving in Toronto before 9 a.m., with return trips leaving around 5 p.m. and reaching Stratford by approximately 7:30 p.m. Weekend service will operate in reverse, starting from Toronto in the morning and returning later in the day, a schedule designed to support tourism and leisure travel.
