Strictly Come Dancing 2026: Week 5 Line-Up and What Time It Starts

Strictly Come Dancing 2026 airs at 6.30pm on Saturday, 24 October, on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, with 12 couples listed for Week 5. This evening’s routines include an Argentine tango for Bethany Antonia and Nancy Xu, a rumba for Delta Goodrem and Kai Widdrington, and a Blondie tango for Lacey Turner and Vito Coppola.

Following Icons Week, the competition moves into another round before Halloween Week on 31 October. With ballroom, Latin and a Couple’s Choice on the programme, the celebrities face different challenges as they try to impress the judges and win viewers’ support.

Emma Willis, Johannes Radebe and Josh Widdicombe lead the new Strictly Come Dancing 2026 presenting team. The BBC’s series guide describes 2026 as the first year Strictly has featured three hosts.

Strictly Come Dancing 2026 Week 5: Full songs and dances

Delta Goodrem and Kai Widdrington will perform a rumba to Celine Dion’s “It’s All Coming Back To Me Now”, while Lacey Turner and Vito Coppola have a tango to Blondie’s “Atomic”. Dani Dyer and Nikita Kuzmin take on a salsa to Rosalía’s “DESPECHÁ”.

Jaime Winstone and Carlos Gu have a foxtrot to Olivia Dean’s “Man I Need”. Meanwhile, Olympic medallist Tabby Stoecker and professional partner Mark Karmalita will perform their Couple’s Choice to Olivia Rodrigo’s “stupid song”.

Here is the complete Week 5 song and dance list:

  • Bethany Antonia and Nancy Xu: Argentine tango to “All The Things She Said” by Harrison.
  • Dani Dyer and Nikita Kuzmin: Salsa to “DESPECHÁ” by Rosalía.
  • Delta Goodrem and Kai Widdrington: Rumba to “It’s All Coming Back To Me Now” by Celine Dion.
  • Jaime Winstone and Carlos Gu: Foxtrot to “Man I Need” by Olivia Dean.
  • Lacey Turner and Vito Coppola: Tango to “Atomic” by Blondie.
  • Tabby Stoecker and Mark Karmalita: Couple’s Choice to “stupid song” by Olivia Rodrigo.
  • Cach Mercer and Maddie Ingoldsby: Cha-cha to “Beggin’” by Måneskin.
  • Graeme Hall and Lauren Oakley: Tango to “Hernando’s Hideaway” by The Johnston Brothers.
  • John Nellis and Katya Jones: Quickstep to “Five Colours in Her Hair” by McFly.
  • Lawrence Robb and Jowita Przystał: Jive to “The Rockafeller Skank” by Fatboy Slim.
  • Shaun Wright-Phillips and Alexis Warr: Jive to “Faith” by Stevie Wonder featuring Ariana Grande.
  • Will Best and Dianne Buswell: Cha-cha to “Daddy” by Della Reese.

The two jives offer an interesting comparison, with Lawrence and Shaun tackling the same dance style to very different tracks. Cach and Will also share a dance category, although their cha-cha routines will have separate musical identities.

The published list confirms the planned routines rather than the running order. Week 5 scores, leaderboard positions and dance-off results will depend on what happens during the weekend’s broadcasts.

Who hosts Strictly 2026, and when are Halloween and Blackpool?

Alongside the new presenting trio, familiar faces remain at the judges’ desk. Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and head judge Shirley Ballas assess the performances and award their scores.

Once voting opens, viewers can support their favourite partnerships. The official Strictly Come Dancing website provides the current voting instructions.

The full Strictly Come Dancing 2026 celebrity line-up brought together 15 names from acting, music, sport, television and social media. In addition to the 12 celebrities listed for Week 5, the original cast included hairstylist Chris Appleton, Paralympian Dame Sarah Storey and Gavin & Stacey actress Melanie Walters.

There are new faces among the professional dancers, too. Aleksandra Isaeva, Cristian Priori, Lethabo Monametsi, Maddie Ingoldsby and Mark Karmalita joined the professional roster for 2026. Ingoldsby and Karmalita both feature in this weekend’s pairings.

For viewers planning ahead, the BBC guide lists these upcoming dates:

  • Halloween Week: Saturday, 31 October.
  • Blackpool Tower Ballroom: Saturday, 21 November.
  • Musicals Week: Saturday, 5 December.

The Instant Dance challenge will also return following its introduction in 2025, although the series guide does not specify when it will take place.

Strictly’s weekday coverage has changed as well. Ellie Taylor hosts Strictly: It Takes Two in 2026 on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer, with episodes listed from 6.30pm on weeknights. The programme follows the couples through rehearsals and preparations between the weekend broadcasts.

Another addition is Strictly: Lights Up, hosted by Abi Clarke and Tyler West. Available exclusively on BBC iPlayer immediately after Sunday’s results show, it features reactions from the eliminated couple, their dance-off opponents and other people involved in the programme.

BBC iPlayer’s wider Strictly coverage also includes training-room features, weekly highlights and individual dance clips. Episode chapters allow viewers to move between couples’ performances when catching up.

For Week 5, the focus returns to the ballroom: 12 partnerships, a varied soundtrack and another chance to strengthen their position before Halloween. Viewers can watch from 6.30pm on Saturday, 24 October, on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
