Qatar Airways is set to restart its DohaâHelsinki route this summer, restoring a major long-haul connection between Finland and the Middle East after a four-year suspension. The airline confirmed that flights between Hamad International Airport in Doha and Helsinki-Vantaa Airport will resume on July 15, 2026, beginning with four weekly services before expanding to a full daily schedule from August 1.

From August 1, Qatar Airways will add additional Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday rotations:

The airline said the route will improve connections between Northern Europe and destinations across Asia-Pacific, Africa, India, Southeast Asia and Australia through Dohaâs Hamad International Airport, which remains one of the worldâs largest international transit hubs.
Finavia, the operator of Helsinki Airport, welcomed the return of Qatar Airways and highlighted Helsinkiâs strategic geographic location for transfer traffic between Europe and Asia. The airport operator also confirmed that additional security-processing capacity will be added at Helsinki-Vantaaâs non-Schengen terminal area ahead of the summer travel season to handle the increase in passenger traffic.
