Slam Dunk South 2026 is set to bring one of the UK’s biggest alternative music crowds to Hatfield Park on Saturday, May 23, 2026, with official ticket, shuttle and afterparty details now giving fans a clearer picture of the full cost of the day.
The South edition takes place at Hatfield Park, Hatfield, just north of London, and forms part of Slam Dunk’s major anniversary year. The bill is led by names including Good Charlotte, Sublime, Knocked Loose and Taking Back Sunday, with the festival once again leaning into pop-punk, emo, hardcore, ska and metalcore.
Official day admission for Slam Dunk Festival South is listed at £139 for general admission, with a face value of £129. A final release South ticket is shown at £149, with a face value of £139, although that tier is marked as not on sale yet on the booking page.
The See Tickets page also shows a £1.50 transaction fee, meaning the final checkout cost may be slightly higher than the headline ticket price. Fans buying through official channels should also remember that festival entry, shuttle travel and afterparty access are sold separately.
Shuttle buses give London fans a late-night route back
For anyone travelling from London, Hatfield is usually a manageable journey by train, with services running between Hatfield and London King’s Cross. The challenge comes after the final bands, when large crowds are likely to move toward Hatfield station at the same time.
The official travel page lists a single shuttle from the festival to Central London for £13.20, with a face value of £12. The shuttle runs from Hatfield Train Station to Camden Town / Kentish Town High Street between 10pm and 1am.
There is also a £6.60 shuttle, with a face value of £6, running from Hatfield Train Station to The Forum, University of Hertfordshire Students’ Union. That service is aimed at fans heading to the Hatfield afterparty and also operates between 10pm and 1am.
Travel note: Fans planning to stay until the headline sets finish should book return travel before the event. Shuttle tickets may be useful for avoiding the busiest post-festival train queues.
Camden afterparty runs across three venues until 3am
The Camden Takeover afterparty is listed at £11, with a face value of £10. It runs on Saturday, May 23, from 11pm to 3am, giving London-bound fans a late-night option after leaving Hatfield.
The wristband covers three Camden venues: Electric Ballroom, The Black Heart and The Underworld. The listing says one wristband gives access to multiple venues, with DJs and further entertainment still to be announced.
The afterparty is strictly an 18-and-over event, and the booking page states that no refunds will be issued for under-18s. That is separate from the main festival’s age rules, where all ages can attend, under-fives go free when added with a full-priced ticket, and under-14s must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Digital tickets will appear in the See Tickets Wallet mobile app closer to the event date. Fans should check the official Slam Dunk Festival website for the latest line-up, access and travel information, and use National Rail before travelling to confirm live train services.
