The possibility of another monster has become one of the trailer’s biggest discussion points. King Ghidorah is an obvious candidate for longtime Godzilla fans because of the creature’s history as one of Godzilla’s most formidable enemies.
But the official Godzilla Minus Zero information does not name Ghidorah. Until TOHO makes that connection itself, the King Ghidorah theory should be treated as speculation rather than a confirmed reveal.

This Is Still Shikishima’s Story
Ryunosuke Kamiki returns as Koichi Shikishima, while Minami Hamabe returns as Noriko. Hidetaka Yoshioka is also back as Kenji Noda, now serving as director of the Disaster Response Bureau.
Yuki Yamada, Kuranosuke Sasaki, Sakura Ando and Miou Tanaka are among the other returning performers. Their presence suggests Minus Zero will continue exploring the consequences of the previous attack rather than treating Godzilla’s return as an unrelated disaster.
New Faces Could Hold Important Answers
Min Tanaka plays biologist Kanji Murakami, while Masami Nagasawa joins as weather forecaster Makoto Aoyama. Jun Kunimura plays Dr. Ogata and Ko Maehara appears as Murakami’s assistant Akira Hagiwara.
The scientific and disaster-response roles could become particularly important as the characters try to understand the new threat facing Japan.
