MILWAUKEE — Jacob Misiorowski brought the heat, Jackson Chourio delivered when Milwaukee needed him most, and Luis Lara finished a dramatic comeback as the Brewers beat the Chicago Cubs 4-3 in 10 innings Tuesday night at American Family Field.

Misiorowski touched 104.5 mph, struck out nine and allowed only one earned run over 6 1/3 innings. The 24-year-old also crossed a remarkable milestone by surpassing 1,000 pitches at 100 mph or faster this season.
Misiorowski hits 104.5 mph against Cubs
Misiorowski wasted no time showing his velocity. He struck out Pete Crow-Armstrong to begin the game with a 103.7 mph four-seam fastball before later reaching 104.5 mph against Seiya Suzuki.
Chicago still struck first. Suzuki doubled and Michael Busch drove him home with a single off a 102.4 mph fastball. Milwaukee answered in the bottom of the first when Brice Turang brought home Chourio to make it 1-1.

Milwaukee’s young core struck again in the 10th. Luis Lara, 21, delivered the walk-off hit that brought home the winning run and completed the Brewers’ 4-3 comeback.
