Rockstar Games is expanding the Grand Theft Auto VI launch beyond consoles with a major music release. Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album will feature 34 original tracks and arrive on November 19, 2026, the same day GTA VI launches on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
The music rollout has already begun. Six songs are streaming now, with Travis Scott, PinkPantheress, Future, Metro Boomin, Morgan Wallen, Rauw Alejandro, Keith Richards and other artists appearing in the first wave. The project gives GTA fans an early taste of Vice City and Leonida months before the full album arrives.

GTA VI: The Album brings 34 original songs
Rockstar Games and Atlantic Records are presenting the album as a standalone project built around the atmosphere of GTA VI rather than a simple collection of previously released music.
The full album contains 34 original tracks, but only six have been revealed so far. That leaves 28 songs, along with much of the artist lineup, still under wraps.
The variety in the opening releases suggests Rockstar is aiming for a broad sound that reflects different sides of Vice City and the wider state of Leonida.
First six GTA 6 album tracks are streaming now
The first batch moves across hip-hop, electronic music, country, Latin music and rock rather than focusing on a single genre.
- Yung Lean – “That’s It” feat. Future & Metro Boomin
- Travis Scott – “RHYNO”, produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo
- CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, PinkPantheress, Fred again.. & Étienne de Crécy – “Sexy Magic”
- Morgan Wallen – “Last Thing You Need”
- Rauw Alejandro – “Macacoa 2000”
- Keith Richards – “Bright Lights, Big City”
All six songs are available to stream now, giving listeners something immediate from the project instead of making them wait until launch day.
The album is only one part of GTA VI’s music
The 34-song album should not be confused with every piece of music players will hear inside GTA VI.
The game will also include new in-game radio stations, an original score and other musical elements. That distinction is important because radio has traditionally been a major part of the Grand Theft Auto experience, helping define the identity and atmosphere of each location.
That means anyone searching for the complete GTA 6 soundtrack should be cautious about lists claiming that these 34 tracks represent all of the game’s music.
Vice City and Leonida influence the sound
Rockstar says the album is designed to capture the energy of Vice City and Leonida. The first releases support that approach, bringing together artists from very different musical backgrounds instead of leaning entirely into one scene.
The broader GTA VI campaign is also expanding across hardware and collectibles. Players preparing for launch can check the GTA 6 limited-edition DualSense controller pre-orders, which are tied to the same November release window.
That combination of game hardware, original music and physical collectibles shows how Rockstar is building GTA VI as a wider entertainment launch rather than relying only on trailers and gameplay reveals.
GTA VI still launches on November 19
The game and album are both scheduled for November 19, 2026.
According to the official Rockstar Games GTA VI page, the game is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar describes the story as following Jason and Lucia after an easy score goes wrong and pulls them into a criminal conspiracy across Leonida.
Rockstar’s current release campaign also includes pre-orders and launch-day hardware tie-ins, giving players several ways to prepare before November.
Vinyl and CD editions give collectors another option
Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album will also be released in physical formats, including vinyl and CD editions.
The standout collector version uses transparent magenta records filled with blue liquid, while another vinyl edition uses a splatter-style design. CD packaging has also been prepared with artwork tied to the visual style of GTA VI.
Because collector stock can change quickly, availability should be checked at the time of purchase rather than relying on older sold-out reports.
Gaming competition is building around the GTA VI launch
Rockstar’s announcement lands during a busy period for major gaming reveals. Sony recently used its September 2026 State of Play to spotlight upcoming PlayStation releases, adding to an increasingly crowded schedule heading into late 2026 and 2027.
GTA VI is taking a different approach by connecting its launch directly with music, limited-edition hardware and collector products, giving the release reach beyond the usual gaming audience.
Most of the 34-song lineup is still unrevealed
The biggest music-related mystery is now the remaining 28 tracks. Rockstar and Atlantic Records have not revealed the complete artist lineup, making the six released songs only the first part of the album rollout.
For fans, that leaves several details still worth watching before November 19: the rest of the artists, the complete album tracklist and the separate in-game radio lineup. Until those are officially announced, the six released tracks remain the confirmed first look at the sound Rockstar is building around GTA VI.
