Paige Returns After 12 Years, Kelani Jordan Retains Title
Paige made a surprise appearance as Kelani Jordan’s mystery challenger for the NXT Women’s Championship, returning to the brand where she became its inaugural women’s champion in 2013.
The former champion controlled significant portions of the contest, but Jordan survived the challenge. Paige attempted her Ram-Paige finishing move before Jordan countered into a pinfall to retain the championship.
Jordan entered the match following her successful title defense against Wren Sinclair at Halloween Havoc. Defeating Paige added another notable victory to her reign.
John Cena Announces Zilla Fatu in Emotional NXT Moment
John Cena revealed Zilla Fatu as a participant in the upcoming John Cena Classic, scheduled for December 14 in Orlando, Florida.
During the announcement, Cena reflected on his connection with the Anoa’i wrestling family and paid tribute to Fatu’s late father, former WWE star Umaga.
Fatu became emotional before embracing Cena in the ring. Cody Rhodes had previously been announced as the tournament’s first invited competitor.
The announcement adds another storyline to Cena’s WWE appearances, following his recent Survivor Series farewell storyline.
CM Punk Challenges Grayson Waller for NXT Championship
CM Punk returned to NXT competition for the first time in more than 16 years to challenge champion Grayson Waller.
The match was arranged after Halloween Havoc, where Waller retained his championship against Tony D’Angelo. Danhausen subsequently introduced Punk’s video challenge, prompting NXT General Manager Robert Stone to approve the contest.
Before the match, Punk interacted backstage with Shiloh Hill, who expressed interest in a future championship opportunity.
The main event was officially advertised, but its final outcome was not independently confirmed in the available completed reports. WWE’s official November 4 NXT episode page provides the confirmed match lineup and broadcast information.
Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno Win Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic
Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno defeated Hank Walker and Tank Ledger to win the 2026 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
The winners had previously eliminated Los Americanos, Fraxiom and The Vanity Project during their tournament run.
Cody Rhodes appeared to present the Dusty Cup, honoring the legacy of his father, Dusty Rhodes.
The victory earned Dar and Moreno an NXT Tag Team Championship match against The Vanity Project’s Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes, scheduled for November 10.
Cruz Montana Defeats Dion Lennox in Unsanctioned Match

Chad Gable, Rey Fenix and Dragon Lee Win Opening Match
Chad Gable, Rey Fenix and Dragon Lee defeated The Vanity Project’s Jackson Drake, Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes in a six-man tag team match.
The result came against a faction holding the NXT North American and Tag Team Championships. Large-scale wrestling productions also depend on specialized venue infrastructure, including roofing systems designed for major sports facilities, although this was not a factor in the match itself.
Next WWE NXT Episode: November 10 Matches
The upcoming episode is expected to feature Dar and Moreno challenging The Vanity Project for the NXT Tag Team Championships.
Other reported matches include Kam Hendrix against EK Prosper, Wren Sinclair against Izzi Dame, Lizzy Rain against Chantel Monroe, and a three-way contest involving Sean Legacy, Saquon Shugars and Tristan Angels.
The championship implications, Paige’s return and Cena’s tournament announcement give WWE several developing storylines heading into its next broadcast.
