Once the Lotto Max jackpot reaches $50 million, additional prizes called MAXMILLIONS are also drawn while the jackpot keeps growing. Each MAXMILLIONS draw is worth exactly $1 million, and the prize may be shared if more than one ticket matches a MAXMILLIONS selection.

Draw schedule and cut-off time
Lotto Max draws take place every Tuesday and Friday. Sales end across Canada at 10:30 p.m. ET on draw nights.
How to play and how much it costs
A standard Lotto Max play costs $5 and includes three sets of seven numbers, selected from 1 to 50. You can pick your own numbers or use Quick Pick for randomly generated selections.
Advance Play, subscriptions, and Combination Play
In-store customers can play ahead with Advance Play for up to 26 weeks or 52 draws. A Lotto Max subscription option is also available online or in-app, with Multi-Draw selections up to 999 draws or a “Never Miss a Draw” option that continues until you cancel.
Some retailers also offer 8- and 9-number Combination Play tickets, which can be purchased for up to 10 draws in advance. Combination Play is available in-store only.
Odds and prize funding
The Lotto Max prize fund is 48% of cash sales revenue, divided among prize categories. The overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 7 per $5 play.
