Kesha to Headline Churchill Park Music Festival in St. John’s as Tickets Go on Sale June 9

Kesha is set to bring her high-energy pop catalogue to St. John’s this summer, with Churchill Park Music Festival confirming the two-time Grammy-nominated artist as a headliner for Friday, July 17. The announcement adds another major international name to a 2026 festival lineup already featuring The Chicks, Keith Urban and Matchbox Twenty.

Tickets for Kesha’s Churchill Park Music Festival performance will go on sale Tuesday, June 9, at 12 p.m. NDT through the official Churchill Park Music Festival website. The booking gives Newfoundland and Labrador music fans a rare chance to see one of pop’s most recognizable performers in an outdoor summer setting.

Kesha first became a global pop force with “TiK ToK,” a defining party anthem of the late 2000s, before following it with hits including “Die Young,” “We R Who We R,” “Your Love Is My Drug” and “Timber,” her chart-topping collaboration with Pitbull. That connection may stand out for Churchill Park regulars, as Pitbull performed at the St. John’s festival in 2024.

The July 17 show also arrives during a renewed chapter in Kesha’s career. Her sixth studio album, (PERIOD), released in 2025 through Kesha Records, marked her first full-length project as an independent artist. The record brought back the bold dance-pop sound that helped define her early years while reflecting a new stage of creative ownership.

The album’s commercial performance gave Kesha fresh momentum heading into 2026. (PERIOD) debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Dance Albums chart, reached No. 3 on the Independent Albums chart and entered the top 20 of the Billboard 200. It also supported what became the biggest live run of her career, reinforcing demand for her festival appearances.

Kesha remains one of the most successful pop artists of her generation. She has earned 10 Top 10 singles, two No. 1 albums, four No. 1 songs on Top 40 radio and billions of streams worldwide. Her audience remains large across platforms, with close to 40 million monthly Spotify listeners and more than 40 million followers across social media.

Her influence also extends beyond recording and touring. Kesha has built a wider entertainment profile through television, film, publishing, live events, a cruise experience, cosmetics and the launch of her own label. That broader career gives her Churchill Park appearance more weight than a standard festival booking, placing an artist with both legacy hits and fresh independent-era momentum on one of Atlantic Canada’s biggest summer stages.

Kesha’s St. John’s show is part of a broader festival-heavy year for the singer. She is also scheduled for Quebec City’s Festival d’Ă©tĂ© de QuĂ©bec, where she appears on a major bill with Muse, Limp Bizkit and Jelly Roll after the FEQ 2026 lineup was announced.

For Churchill Park Music Festival, the addition of Kesha strengthens an already varied summer lineup and continues the event’s push to attract globally recognized performers. With ticket sales opening on June 9 and the concert set for July 17, her St. John’s appearance is shaping up as one of the standout pop events of the 2026 summer season in Atlantic Canada.
