Pizza Planet is no longer just a fictional restaurant from Toy Story. Papa Johns has officially partnered with Disney and Pixar to launch a limited-time Toy Story 5 menu, bringing one of the franchiseâs most recognizable locations into real life ahead of the movieâs theatrical release on June 19.
The collaboration marks the first official pizza partnership tied to the Toy Story film series. While Disney has expanded aggressively into food collaborations over the last few years with brands tied to Marvel, Star Wars and Pixar, this campaign feels especially nostalgic for fans who grew up watching Buzz Lightyear, Woody and the famous Pizza Planet arcade machine.
According to Papa Johnsâ official announcement, the menu includes three new personal pizzas inspired by iconic characters from the franchise. Each pizza is made using Papa Johnsâ original dough recipe, which the company says contains just six ingredients and no artificial colors or flavors.
Every New Toy Story 5 Menu Item
The first new item is the Space Ranger Roni, a Buzz Lightyear-inspired pizza topped with mozzarella cheese and double pepperoni. Papa Johns is positioning it as a simple but bold option aimed at customers who prefer classic flavors with extra protein.
The second pizza, called Reach for the Pie, combines Italian sausage with banana peppers for a sharper and slightly spicy flavor profile.
The most unique item in the lineup is the Sheriffâs Round Up. Inspired by Woody, the pizza swaps traditional tomato sauce for smoky Southern-style barbecue sauce and includes grilled chicken, onions and mozzarella cheese.
Papa Johns is also adding a new dipping sauce called Rootinâ Tootinâ Ranch. The sauce blends classic ranch with pepperoni pizza-inspired seasoning, giving customers a new side option for pizzas, wings and breadsticks.

Pizza Planet Pop-Ups and Limited-Time Merch
The company is pushing the collaboration beyond food. Throughout June, Papa Johns plans to open Pizza Planet pop-up experiences in Los Angeles, London, Madrid and Seoul. These temporary locations are expected to feature retro arcade-inspired interiors, themed games, exclusive collectibles and limited-edition merchandise tied to Toy Story 5.
The partnership also includes a game inside the Papa Johns mobile app, giving Disney fans another reason to engage with the campaign outside restaurants.
Limited-time movie collaborations have become a major strategy across the fast-food industry as brands compete for attention online. Swikblog recently covered similar customer-driven food trends during Pi Day pizza promotions and restaurant deals, which highlighted how brands are increasingly using pop culture and seasonal moments to attract younger audiences.
The Toy Story 5 menu is now available across the United States and in more than 40 international markets for a limited time through July 19. For longtime Pixar fans, it may be the closest thing yet to finally ordering a slice from Pizza Planet itself.
