TikTok admits livestream moderation delay
TikTok said its automated moderation systems detected the livestream within minutes and sent it to the company’s United States moderation team for review.
The platform acknowledged that an error by a moderator delayed the removal of the broadcast. TikTok said it alerted law enforcement, closed several subsequent livestreams within approximately 90 seconds and permanently banned Hilton’s account.
