Persona 5 Royal Returns as Xbox Game Pass Reveals 9 New Games for June 2026

Microsoft has revealed the first wave of Xbox Game Pass additions for June 2026, confirming nine games that will join the service between June 4 and June 16.

The latest update is led by the return of Persona 5 Royal, one of the most acclaimed RPGs in recent years. The lineup also includes several day-one releases, survival adventures, boxing action, cooperative platformers and space exploration titles.

The new list expands on the earlier Xbox Game Pass June 2026 confirmed games list, giving subscribers a much broader first-half-of-the-month schedule ahead of the Xbox Games Showcase.

According to Pure Xbox, the June lineup covers cloud, console and PC, with a mix of major returning titles and new releases arriving across different Game Pass tiers.

Persona 5 Royal leads the June Game Pass lineup

The biggest name in the first wave is Persona 5 Royal, which arrives on June 9 for cloud, console and PC.

The Atlus RPG follows the Phantom Thieves, a group of students balancing everyday school life in Tokyo with supernatural battles inside the Metaverse. Its return gives Xbox Game Pass one of the strongest role-playing games currently available through the service.

The June additions begin earlier, on June 4, with Herdling and Total Chaos.

Herdling is an atmospheric alpine adventure where players guide a herd of creatures through dangerous mountain landscapes. Total Chaos offers a very different experience, bringing first-person survival horror, mystery, crafting and resource management.

Day-one games add more variety in June

On June 8, Xbox Game Pass subscribers will get access to Solarpunk and Undisputed.

Solarpunk arrives as a day-one release. The game is set across floating islands, where players can build structures, grow food, craft technology and explore the skies using airships.

Undisputed brings boxing simulation to the service, featuring licensed fighters, realistic movement and detailed ring mechanics for players looking for a sports-focused addition.

June 11 brings three more games: Beastro, Frog Sqwad and Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions.

Beastro combines cozy life-simulation gameplay with deckbuilding elements, as players prepare magical meals that affect combat encounters.

Frog Sqwad is a cooperative extraction puzzle-platformer built for chaotic multiplayer sessions, supporting up to eight players with physics-based challenges.

Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions is another major day-one addition. Set in the Astroneer universe, it focuses on cooperative space exploration, large-scale expeditions and missions across multiple star systems.

The first wave ends on June 16 with Junkster, a day-one 3D action platformer. Players take control of UM-13, a stranded construction robot trying to repair its spacecraft and recover lost cargo on a dangerous junkyard planet.

EA Sports UFC 6 trial and extra Game Pass perks

Microsoft has also confirmed that EA Sports UFC 6 will receive a 10-hour EA Play early-access trial starting June 12 for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members.

Progress made during the trial can be carried over into the full game after release, making it useful for players who want to test the game before buying or continuing further.

Subscribers are also receiving an in-game benefit for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege. The perk includes the Blitz Bushido Set, featuring the Denko Sekka skin for the G52 Tactical Shield, Hoshi Kabuto headgear and the Taiyou charm.

The new wave follows other recent Game Pass arrivals, including Batman: Arkham Knight for PC and Escape the Backrooms, both of which joined the service in late May.

Games leaving Xbox Game Pass on June 15

While new titles are joining the catalog, several games are also scheduled to leave Xbox Game Pass on June 15.

The confirmed departures include Jurassic World Evolution 2, Lost in Random: The Eternal Die, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Warhammer 40K Space Marine: Master Crafted Edition and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge.

Subscribers who want to keep any of these games can purchase them at a Game Pass discount before they leave the catalog.

With Persona 5 Royal returning, multiple day-one releases joining the service and more Xbox announcements expected during the showcase, June is already shaping up to be a busy month for Xbox Game Pass across console, PC and cloud.
