Roxette’s entire 2026 North American tour has been canceled, affecting 14 concerts in the United States and Canada. The 40th-anniversary run was scheduled to begin in Clarkston, Michigan, on September 10 and end in Auburn, Washington, on October 9.
Roxette described the tour as “postponed” because of logistical problems and sharply increased touring costs. Ticketmaster and participating venues, however, list the original events as canceled and are issuing refunds. No replacement dates had been announced as of July 28, 2026.
Why did Roxette cancel its 2026 tour?
The group said Live Nation US made the decision after reviewing the logistics and cost of staging the North American run. Per Gessle, Roxette’s founder and frontman, said the choice came from the promoter rather than from him, singer Lena Philipsson or the touring band.
Gessle expressed disappointment because the United States is Roxette’s largest streaming market. He hopes the band can perform in the U.S. and Canada in the future, but his statement does not confirm that new concerts are being arranged.

The itinerary contained 12 U.S. shows and two Canadian dates. Taylor Dayne and Nick Lowe & Los Straitjackets were scheduled to appear as special guests.
How will ticket refunds be issued?
Ticketmaster says customers who purchased directly through its platform do not need to submit a refund request. The money will be returned automatically to the original payment method.
The official Philadelphia venue cancellation notice says Ticketmaster refunds should appear within 14 to 21 days. Processing time may vary depending on the bank, venue and ticket seller.
If a ticket was transferred, the refund normally goes to the person who originally purchased it. Customers who used a resale marketplace must follow that company’s cancellation policy.
Ticket refunds generally do not include separately booked flights, hotels or rental cars. Fans with nonrefundable travel arrangements should contact the provider promptly to ask about credits or booking changes.
Comparable refund questions arose when the Goo Goo Dolls canceled their Canadian tour dates, although those concerts were called off because of singer John Rzeznik’s health.
