🔬 1. Volcano Eruption Tycoon — Control Pressure, Temperature & Foam Chemistry
America’s favorite baking-soda volcano just got a futuristic makeover. This interactive simulator lets students manipulate acid–base ratios, temperature, and catalysts to trigger three outcomes: stall, normal eruption, or over-pressure explosion. It visually demonstrates gas production, reaction kinetics, and pressure build-up in real time.
Best for: Grades 4–10 | Chemistry, Earth Science
NGSS Alignment: MS-PS1, MS-ESS2
Try this challenge: Can you find the exact ratio that causes a stall with zero eruption?
🌋 Volcano Eruption Tycoon — Hybrid (Tycoon + Lab)
The year is 2042.
Swikblog Labs built the Volcanic Control Interface. You are Chief Volcanologist. Command eruptions, protect cities, and evolve volcano tech from Earth to future bio-plasma cores.
Controls
Self-Tests
Tutorial (Optional)
Use sliders to set reactants. If ratios are off, you may stall (no eruption) or over-pressurize (explosion). Lab Mode shows gas volume & pressure curves.
⚡ 2. Electric Circuit Builder — Series vs Parallel Power Lab
Students drag batteries, bulbs, switches, and wires to build their own circuits. They immediately see brightness changes, current flow, resistance, and total power change as they rewire the circuit.
Best for: Grades 5–12 | Physics
NGSS Alignment: HS-PS2, HS-PS3
Try this challenge: Build the brightest circuit using the fewest components!
⚡ Electric Circuit Builder — Hybrid (Tycoon + Lab)
Controls
Self‑Tests
Tutorial (Optional)
Place components to connect the left (+) terminal to the right (−). If there’s no continuous path → Open Circuit (stall). If total R < threshold → Overload. Ideal is a safe path with bulbs lit.
🌍 3. Solar System Gravity Launcher — Orbital Dynamics Simulator
Students launch rockets into orbit using real gravitational physics. They adjust thrust, mass, and angle to see if their rocket will escape Earth, fall back, or enter orbit.
Best for: Grades 6–12 | Space Science, Physics
NGSS Alignment: MS-ESS1, HS-ETS1
Try this challenge: Achieve a perfect stable orbit without crashing or escaping gravity.
🪐 Solar System Gravity Lab — Pseudo‑3D
Controls
Self‑Tests
Tutorial
Use the Launch Pad to set mass, distance, speed and angle. Launch. If speed too low → crash. Too high → escape. The sweet spot gives a stable orbit and increases your score over time.
🎈 4. Balloon Rocket Simulator — Air Pressure & Newton’s 3rd Law
This game models a balloon-powered rocket racing along a track. Students adjust air volume, payload mass, air drag, and friction to maximize thrust and minimize resistance.
Best for: Grades 4–9 | Physics, Engineering Design
NGSS Alignment: MS-PS2, MS-ETS1
Try this challenge: Can you reach the finish line in under 7 seconds without exploding?
🎈 Balloon Rocket Simulator – Game
Turn Newton's 3rd Law into a time-trial challenge. Tune your rocket (balloon) to reach the finish line fastest!
Controls
How the Physics Works
Thrust is proportional to balloon size: Fthrust = k · size. Motion follows ΣF = m·a along the line: thrust pushes forward while line friction and quadratic air drag resist the motion. The simulator integrates with a small time step to update velocity and position. Try reducing mass or friction to see faster acceleration!

🧲 5. Magnetism Sandbox — Bar Magnets to Maglev Tracks
From iron filings to electromagnets and magnetic levitation trains, this game simulates the invisible force fields students struggle to visualize in textbooks.
Best for: Grades 4–12 | Physics
NGSS Alignment: MS-PS2
Try this challenge: Can you launch a maglev train with zero friction?
🧲 Magnetism Sandbox — Progressive Tycoon

Stage 1 — Bar Magnets
Self-Tests
Tutorial
Stage 1: Place bar magnets and iron filings. Align polarities to shape the field. Earn 100 points to unlock a story contract.
Story Contract
The city council noticed your magnetic mastery. They want you to build adjustable electromagnets for an automated recycling plant. Do you accept?
🌱 6. Germination & Plant Tycoon — Environmental Growth Simulator
Students control water, light, and soil nutrients to grow seeds through multiple life stages. Too much or too little of any factor can cause disease, slow growth, or plant death.
Best for: Grades 3–8 | Life Science
NGSS Alignment: MS-LS1, MS-LS2
Try this challenge: Grow the tallest plant in 5 days without fungus.
🌱 Seed Germination & Crop Survival Tycoon
Chapter 1: The First Seeds
Welcome to Swikblog Green Earth Lab. Prepare the soil, balance moisture, and regulate sunlight and temperature. Watch seeds sprout in cross-section. Each season ends with a growth & yield report.
