Daniel Coleman, widely known as the creator and star of the childrenâs YouTube sensation Danny Go!, has announced the death of his 14-year-old son Isaac Coleman following a devastating battle with aggressive cancer.
The heartbreaking news was shared Friday through an emotional Instagram tribute in which Coleman reflected on Isaacâs life, strength and the painful reality of losing a child after years of medical challenges.
âOh my sweet boy. Thereâs so much I want to say, but I donât know how yet,â Coleman wrote. âBeing your dad was the honor of a lifetime. Iâm so proud of you and I love you forever.â
The post immediately triggered an outpouring of support from families, fans and fellow creators who have followed the Danny Go! brand over the past several years.
Isaac lived with Fanconi anemia before cancer diagnosis
Isaac had spent much of his life battling Fanconi anemia, a rare inherited disorder that affects bone marrow and greatly increases the risk of cancer and blood disorders. According to the Cleveland Clinic, the condition can also cause serious physical complications and lifelong medical issues.
In December 2025, Coleman revealed that Isaac had been diagnosed with stage 3 mouth cancer. At the time, he explained the family always knew cancer was a possibility because Fanconi anemia patients face an extremely high cancer risk, but said hearing the diagnosis was still deeply shocking.
Doctors initially attempted surgery to remove the visible cancer, but later scans showed the disease was spreading aggressively. In February, Coleman shared that Isaacâs condition was already close to stage 4 because of the speed of the spread.
He also explained that Fanconi-related complications made treatment far more difficult than in typical pediatric cancer cases. The family faced limited options involving targeted radiation therapy and repeated surgeries while trying to protect Isaacâs quality of life.

Family canceled Danny Go tour as Isaacâs condition worsened
As Isaacâs health declined, Coleman canceled the planned 2026 Danny Go! live tour to stay home with his family. He thanked supporters for their understanding and said his priority had become spending as much time as possible with Isaac, his wife Mindy Coleman and younger son Levi.
In April, Coleman shared another devastating update, revealing that Isaac had entered hospice care. He said the family had shifted to a comfort-focused approach while hospice teams helped manage Isaacâs pain.
âMindy and I are heartbroken watching him decline,â Coleman wrote at the time.
Despite the difficult months, Coleman consistently described Isaac as joyful, brave and determined. In his final tribute, he said looking through photos and videos from Isaacâs life filled him with both grief and pride because his son had continued to carry âhis trademark joyâ despite years of health struggles.
The Danny Go! YouTube channel launched in 2021 and has grown into one of the internetâs biggest childrenâs entertainment brands, attracting millions of subscribers through educational songs, movement videos and positive family-friendly content.
Many parents who watched the show with their children shared emotional condolences online, saying Isaacâs story had deeply affected them.
