Costco Recall Alert: 6 Popular Products Customers Should Return Immediately in Canada

Costco customers across Canada may want to spend a few minutes checking product labels around their homes. In recent weeks, several recall notices have been issued for products sold through Costco warehouses and Costco.ca, affecting everything from milk and multivitamins to kitchen appliances, personal care products and household items.

What makes this round of recalls unusual is the variety of risks involved. Some products were pulled due to contamination concerns, while others were linked to potential burns, choking hazards or manufacturing defects. For shoppers, the most important step is verifying product numbers, lot codes and expiry dates rather than assuming every item under a recalled brand is affected.

Six Costco Products Currently Covered by Recall Notices

The products involved include Lactantia UltraPĹ«r 2% Lactose Free Protein Milk, Kirkland Signature Women’s Multivitamin & Mineral 50+ tablets, Zwilling Enfinigy Pro electric kettles, Renpure Tea Tree Rosemary shampoo and conditioner, Bali cellular shades and Gino Bambino Gluten-Free Pizza Starter Kits.

Each recall applies only to specific batches, models or sales periods, which means customers should review the details carefully before disposing of or returning products.

Lactantia Protein Milk Recall Affects Specific Expiry Date

Lactalis Canada initiated a recall on June 8, 2026, involving Lactantia UltraPūr 2% Lactose Free Protein Milk sold at Costco. The affected product is the 2-litre carton carrying Costco item number 1987085 and expiry date 22 JN 2026.

The company said the recall was issued because vitamin A and vitamin D levels may exceed recommended amounts. While vitamins are essential nutrients, excessive levels can become a concern when consumed regularly.

Customers should not consume the affected milk and should return it to Costco for a full refund.

The protein milk recall is not the first safety alert to affect Costco shoppers this year. Customers who purchased the affected dairy product can review the full details of the Lactantia UltraPūr milk recall, including affected expiry dates and refund information.

Kirkland Multivitamin Recall Linked to Possible Metal Fragments

Costco also alerted customers to a voluntary recall involving one lot of Kirkland Signature Women’s Multivitamin & Mineral 50+ tablets.

The affected bottles display lot number 5J46568W7 and expiry date FE/2028. According to the recall notice, some bottles may contain metal fragments.

Consumers should stop taking the vitamins immediately and return affected bottles to Costco for a refund.

Electric Kettle Recall Follows Reports of Incidents

The Zwilling Enfinigy Pro 1.5-litre electric kettle recall is among the most significant product safety notices because it involves a potential burn hazard.

The affected kettles were sold between October 2022 and January 2026 as part of appliance bundles under Costco item numbers 1664609 and 1663356.

The problem involves a handle that may loosen or break during use, increasing the risk of hot water spills. Approximately 44,000 units were sold in Canada, and 21 incidents had been reported before the recall announcement.

Customers can return the recalled kettles to Costco for a refund even if they no longer have the original receipt.

Renpure Hair Products Recalled in Ontario and Quebec

Mav Beauty Canada recalled certain lots of Renpure Tea Tree Rosemary Rebalanced Scalp Shampoo & Conditioner sold at Costco locations in Ontario and Quebec between May 10 and May 12, 2026.

The affected product, sold as a two-pack of 946 ml bottles under Costco item number 8434044, carries lot codes 2603C065 and 2604C066.

The recall was issued because of potentially elevated microbial levels, including Burkholderia cepacia bacteria. While healthy individuals may experience little or no impact, people with weakened immune systems or chronic lung conditions could face greater risks.

Customers should discontinue use and return affected products for a refund.

Window Blind Recall Highlights Child Safety Concerns

Springs Window Fashions also recalled certain Bali cellular shades sold through Costco.ca between January 1, 2025, and April 9, 2026.

The affected model number is BC23, which can be found on the product label attached to the top rail.

The issue involves end caps that may detach from the bottom rail and release small parts, creating a choking hazard for young children.

Customers are advised to stop using affected shades if the end caps appear loose. A repair kit is available from the supplier, and refunds are also being offered.

Gluten-Free Pizza Kits Recalled After Mold Discovery

Molinaro’s Fine Italian Foods voluntarily recalled its Gino Bambino 700g Gluten-Free Pizza Starter Kit after mold was identified on products before their expiration dates.

The recall affects Costco item number 1974721 with expiry dates 22 AL 2026 and 28 AL 2026. The kits were sold in warehouses and online between December 2025 and April 2026.

Consumers should check both refrigerators and freezers because stored kits remain affected by the recall regardless of where they are kept.

Why These Recalls Deserve Attention

Recalls involving major retailers often affect thousands of households because products can remain in kitchens, bathrooms and storage spaces long after purchase. Unlike a single food recall, this group of notices covers multiple categories and several different types of risks.

Food products may raise contamination concerns, supplements may involve foreign materials, and household items can present injury hazards. That variety makes it especially important for consumers to review recall information carefully rather than relying on memory alone.

Consumers can verify active recall notices through the Government of Canada recall database, which provides updated information on affected products and corrective actions.

Anyone who finds a matching product should stop using it immediately and follow the refund, replacement or repair instructions provided by Costco or the manufacturer.
