October 31, 2026 — Romesh Ranganathan and Sebastian “Bash” Croft have been crowned the winners of The Celebrity Traitors 2026, sharing an £83,000 charity prize after a dramatic BBC finale that saw Maya Jama betrayed, King Kenny exposed and James Blunt eliminated just moments before victory.
The 80-minute Season 2 finale aired on BBC One on Friday, October 30, bringing weeks of deception and suspicion at Scotland’s Ardross Castle to an end. Hosted by Claudia Winkleman, the final episode featured a series of tense votes that ultimately handed victory to two Faithful contestants.
Celebrity Traitors 2026 Winners and Prize Money
Comedian Romesh Ranganathan and Heartstopper actor Sebastian Croft, known as Bash, emerged as joint winners after correctly identifying the last remaining Traitor.
The £83,000 prize was divided equally between their chosen charities:
- Romesh Ranganathan: £41,500 for the Refugee Council.
- Sebastian “Bash” Croft: £41,500 for Choose Love.
Both organisations support refugees and displaced communities. The money was awarded to charity rather than kept as personal winnings.
Maya Jama Betrayed by Fellow Traitor Kenny
The finale began with seven contestants remaining, including five Faithfuls and two Traitors. Actor Michael Sheen became the final murder victim after Maya Jama and King Kenny selected him for elimination.
The six surviving contestants then completed a final mission featuring helicopters, off-road vehicles and hidden bunkers. Their efforts added £18,500 to the existing prize fund, bringing the jackpot to £83,000.
At the final roundtable, Maya faced growing suspicion from Romesh and James Blunt over her behaviour during earlier challenges.
In a decisive move, Kenny voted against Maya, helping secure her banishment. The betrayal protected his position temporarily but left him as the only Traitor competing against the remaining Faithfuls.
Leigh-Anne Pinnock Eliminated Before Final Vote
Five contestants reached the final firepit: Romesh, Bash, James Blunt, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Kenny.
All five initially voted to continue the game rather than end it. Leigh-Anne, the former Little Mix singer, received four votes and was banished despite being a Faithful.
Her elimination left four contestants competing for the charity prize.
Kenny Banished After Dramatic Tie With James Blunt
The next vote ended in a tie between Kenny and James Blunt, leaving Romesh and Bash responsible for deciding who should leave.
Bash questioned whether Kenny had been recruited as a Traitor earlier in the competition. Romesh eventually agreed, and the pair voted to eliminate Kenny.
His banishment removed the final Traitor, meaning the remaining three contestants were all Faithfuls.
James Blunt’s Final Mistake Costs Him Victory
With Kenny eliminated, Romesh, Bash and James Blunt could have ended the competition and shared the £83,000 prize.
However, Blunt remained suspicious of Romesh and chose to continue voting. His decision forced another elimination, with Romesh and Bash voting him out.
Blunt’s departure left the final two Faithfuls to end the game and claim victory.
The moment demonstrated the central challenge of The Traitors: identifying the guilty players is not enough. Contestants must also recognise when it is safe to stop voting.
Celebrity Traitors Season 2 Final Results
- Michael Sheen: Murdered before the final mission.
- Maya Jama: Banished at the final roundtable.
- Leigh-Anne Pinnock: Eliminated during the firepit voting.
- King Kenny: Banished following a tied vote.
- James Blunt: Eliminated after requesting another vote.
- Romesh Ranganathan: Joint winner.
- Sebastian Croft: Joint winner.
Season 2 Ends After Earlier James Acaster Twist
The finale followed a turbulent semifinal in which comedian James Acaster openly admitted to being a Traitor during the roundtable.
The series also featured Richard E. Grant accidentally revealing his Traitor identity earlier in the competition.
Unlike the first celebrity season, which Alan Carr won as a Traitor with £87,500 for charity, Season 2 ended with a Faithful victory.
Other reality competitions have also delivered unexpected exits, including the recent Survivor 51 elimination and the Dancing With the Stars October 27 voting results.
Where to Watch Celebrity Traitors 2026 Finale
The finale aired on BBC One on October 30. Viewers in supported regions can stream the episode through BBC iPlayer.
The companion programme, The Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked, hosted by Ed Gamble, also revisits the final eliminations and contestants’ reactions.
The civilian version of The Traitors is expected to return in January 2027.
For Romesh and Bash, the final result secured £41,500 each for charity. For James Blunt, one additional vote turned a possible three-way victory into an unexpected final elimination.
