A Queanbeyan woman from NSW was the only Division One winner, taking the full $60 million jackpot. Her PowerHit entry also won Division Two 19 times, lifting her total prize to $60,638,678.35.

Winner Reaction

“Oh my god! Holy crap!” the Queanbeyan woman said after being told she was the only Division One winner.

She said she was “just sitting here watching the women’s State of Origin” when the life-changing news arrived.

The winner said she had made a last-minute change to her PowerHit ticket after thinking she had too many numbers in the 30s. She removed 33 and replaced it with 5, a move that helped deliver the $60 million jackpot.

“Up until 10 minutes ago, I had a mortgage,” she said, adding that she was still young enough to enjoy the prize, share it with family and make sure everyone was comfortable for life.
