Cheez-It and Coors Light are releasing limited-edition Beer Cheese Flavored Crackers across the United States in August 2026. The new 12.4-ounce box has a suggested price of $4.99 and will be sold only while supplies last.
Mars announced the collaboration on July 22, marking the first time Cheez-It has partnered with a beer brand. Molson Coors Beverage Company produces Coors Light, while Cheez-It joined Mars through its acquisition of Kellanova.
When are Coors Light Cheez-Its coming out?
The companies have confirmed a nationwide August 2026 rollout but have not named one exact launch date. Products may reach stores at different times as retailers receive and display their shipments.
No end date has been announced. Because this is a limited-edition release, individual locations may not receive additional stock after their allocated boxes sell out.
Where can shoppers buy them?
Cheez-It says the crackers will be available at retailers nationwide. As of July 24, no exclusive retailer or complete participating-store list has been published.
Shoppers can check supermarket websites, retailer apps and local snack aisles during August. An online listing does not necessarily mean every branch of that chain has the product in stock.
What do Beer Cheese Cheez-Its taste like?
The flavor is based on a pub-style beer cheese spread rather than a glass of beer. It combines Cheez-It’s toasted cracker base with real cheese, savory seasoning, mild heat, and malty and hoppy notes associated with Coors Light.
Its seasoning includes cheddar cheese, buttermilk, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, red pepper, yeast and yeast extract. The result is intended to deliver a tangy, spiced cheese flavor suited to tailgates and football watch parties.
Do Coors Light Cheez-Its contain alcohol?
The crackers carry Coors Light branding but do not contain alcohol. Beer is not included in the published ingredient list; seasonings and natural flavor create the beer-cheese profile.
This makes the product different from an alcoholic beverage, although buyers should review the current package before serving it to anyone with an allergy or dietary restriction.
Calories, sodium and serving size
The official Cheez-It SmartLabel product listing identifies one serving as approximately 26 crackers, or 30 grams. A box contains about 12 servings.
Each serving provides 150 calories, 7 grams of fat, 1.5 grams of saturated fat, 19 grams of carbohydrates and 3 grams of protein. It contains no total or added sugar.
Sodium is listed at 250 milligrams per serving, equal to 11% of the daily value. People monitoring sodium may want to portion the crackers instead of eating directly from the box.
Are the crackers gluten-free?
No. Enriched wheat flour is the main ingredient, and the allergen statement identifies wheat, milk and soy. The product is therefore unsuitable for people who must avoid those ingredients.
The label also classifies the crackers as kosher dairy and states that they contain a bioengineered food ingredient. They should not be confused with Cheez-It Original Gluten-Free, which uses a separate recipe.
Why this collaboration matters
The August timing puts the snack on shelves shortly before the main fall football and tailgating period. It gives Coors Light a presence outside the beverage aisle while allowing Cheez-It to test an unusual flavor without permanently expanding its regular range.
Food and entertainment brands increasingly use short-term collaborations to attract attention beyond their usual products. Recent examples include the Disney and Kraft Heinz food partnership and Wendy’s launch of a Sonic the Hedgehog Kids’ Meal with collectible cards.
Neither Cheez-It nor Coors Light has confirmed a second product, a future restock or a return date once the limited 2026 supply is gone.
