Disneyland Resort has dropped its 2026 calendar – and it’s one of the busiest years the Anaheim park has ever announced. From the long-awaited arrival of Bluey on stage to limited-time festivals, extra-long Halloween parties and big ticket deals for families, the full line-up is now live and already trending across the US search results.
The year will also keep the park’s huge 70th anniversary celebration rolling through summer, while new attractions and experiences arrive in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, on Soarin’, and around Downtown Disney. If you’re planning a 2026 Disneyland trip, these are the key dates and offers you need to know.
Swikblog breaks down the highlights so you can start plotting that California countdown right now.
70th Anniversary Celebration Runs Through 9 August 2026
Disneyland’s milestone 70th Celebration continues into 2026, honoring seven decades of the original Disney park. The anniversary entertainment returns in full from January and runs until 9 August 2026.
Guests can look forward to the celebratory cavalcade, nighttime spectaculars such as “Wondrous Journeys”, and the return of fan-favorite parade “Paint the Night”, plus Mickey, Minnie and friends greeting visitors in special anniversary outfits across the park.
Bluey’s Best Day Ever at Fantasyland Theatre
The biggest headline for families is the debut of “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!”, a brand-new live experience based on the massively popular Disney+ series.
- Opening date: 22 March 2026
- Location: Fantasyland Theatre at Disneyland Park
The theatre will be transformed into Bluey’s school for an immersive, family-friendly show. Bluey and her sister Bingo appear live on stage alongside a troupe of actors and musicians, with music, games and interactive play inspired by episodes like “Keepy Uppy”. Outside the show, guests can explore life-sized play spaces such as a gnome village and fairy garden, meet characters like the Grannies and Chattermax, and grab themed snacks at Troubadour Tavern.
Key 2026 Festivals & Seasonal Celebrations
Disneyland has also confirmed the full slate of limited-time festivals and seasonal overlays for 2026. Some of the most important dates:
- Lunar New Year at Disney California Adventure: 23 January – 22 February 2026, with Year of the Horse celebrations, character meet-and-greets and Asian-inspired food stalls.
- Celebrate Gospel (Downtown Disney): 20–21 February and 27–28 February 2026, moving into Downtown Disney with Southern California choirs and headliners Hezekiah Walker and Yolanda Adams.

- Holidays at the Disneyland Resort: beginning 18 November 2026, bringing back Christmas décor, holiday parades and the Disney Festival of Holidays.
After-Hours Parties & Oogie Boogie Bash Dates
Fans of lower crowds and special entertainment will have plenty of chances to book separately ticketed nights in 2026. The Disneyland After Dark series returns with:
- Sweethearts’ Nite: select evenings from 22 January – 17 February
- New “70 Years of Favorites” nights: 3 and 5 March
- Disney Channel Nite: 12, 14 and 16 April

The hugely popular Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party at Disney California Adventure expands to a massive 33 dates across August, September and October 2026, giving Halloween lovers more chances than ever to snag a ticket.
New Attractions: Star Wars Mission & Soarin’ Across America
2026 also brings all-new ride experiences. In Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run is getting a fresh mission starring The Mandalorian and Grogu, arriving on 22 May 2026 to coincide with a new Star Wars film release.
Then, from 2 July 2026, Soarin’ will relaunch as Soarin’ Across America, flying guests over iconic US landmarks and landscapes in honor of America’s 250th anniversary.
Off the rides, Downtown Disney continues its makeover with new locations including Earl of Sandwich, Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby and lululemon, while the classic Disneyland Railroad Guided Tour returns from 16 January 2026 for train and Walt Disney history fans.
Ticket Deals & Hotel Offers for 2026 Trips
Alongside the calendar, Disneyland has rolled out several money-saving offers aimed at families planning ahead:
- Kids’ Summer Ticket Offer: On sale from 21 January 2026 for visits between 22 May and 7 September 2026. Children aged 3–9 can access the parks from as low as $50 per child, per day with 1-, 2- and 3-day Park Hopper options.
- California Resident 3-Day Park Hopper Deal: Eligible Californians can buy a three-day Park Hopper for $249 total (about $83 a day) for visits between 1 January and 21 May 2026, with the option to add Lightning Lane Multi Pass at a higher price.
- Hotel Discounts: Guests can save up to 25% on select Disneyland Resort hotel stays of three nights or more from 1 January to 21 May 2026, and on four-night stays from 22 May to 7 September 2026, subject to availability and blackout dates.
Theme-park reservations continue to open 180 days in advance, so serious planners will want to lock in key festival, Halloween and holiday dates early – especially if they’re targeting Oogie Boogie Bash or the Bluey debut season.
With a packed celebration year, aggressive ticket deals and major new experiences, 2026 is shaping up as a blockbuster year at Disneyland Resort. If “take the kids to Disneyland” is on your bucket list, this might be the year to finally make it happen.
