Duran Duran have added another major chapter to their 2026 live calendar, confirming a new UK and European arena run that will bring the British new wave icons back in front of large-scale audiences this autumn.
The band, fronted by Simon Le Bon, will begin the UK leg at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro on October 15 before heading to Belfast’s SSE Arena on October 18. The schedule then moves to Birmingham’s Utilita Arena on October 20, followed by Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena on October 23 and Leeds’ First Direct Arena on October 24.
Indie band Pigeon will support Duran Duran throughout the UK dates, giving the arena run a newer British music presence alongside one of the country’s most established pop-rock acts.
After the UK shows, the tour will continue across Europe, with stops planned in Oslo, Stockholm, Hamburg, Cologne, Brussels and Paris. The new dates add to what is already a busy 2026 for Duran Duran, whose official tour schedule also includes European summer appearances and a major London headline slot at BST Hyde Park on July 5.
Duran Duran 2026 UK Tour Dates
- October 15: OVO Hydro, Glasgow
- October 18: SSE Arena, Belfast
- October 20: Utilita Arena, Birmingham
- October 23: M&S Bank Arena, Liverpool
- October 24: First Direct Arena, Leeds
Tickets for the arena tour are due to go on general sale at 10 a.m. on June 5 through MyTicket. Presales are scheduled for June 3 and June 4, giving fans an earlier chance to secure seats before wider demand opens.
The announcement comes shortly after Duran Duran released Free To Love, a new single with Chic’s Nile Rodgers in April. Rodgers has long been connected with the band’s dance-pop sound, and the collaboration gives the tour announcement a current-music angle rather than making it simply a catalogue-driven return.
Duran Duran’s continued pull is built on a career that has stretched far beyond the 1980s. The group became central to the New Romantic movement, combining sharp pop hooks, style-led visuals and music videos that helped define the MTV era. Songs such as Rio, Hungry Like The Wolf and the James Bond theme A View To A Kill remain among their best-known hits.
The current line-up includes Simon Le Bon, keyboardist Nick Rhodes, bassist John Taylor and drummer Roger Taylor. Across their career, Duran Duran have sold more than 100 million records worldwide, scored two UK number-one singles and landed a UK number-one album. Their place in popular music history was further recognised when they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2022.
Le Bon’s own path into the band has become part of Duran Duran history. He left university after a successful audition in the early 1980s, joining a group that would soon become one of Britain’s most visible global acts.
The singer has also spoken openly about the emotional side of performing live. After receiving a royal honour from the Prince of Wales at Windsor Castle in 2024, Le Bon told the PA news agency that playing in front of an audience remains the most immediate part of the job, whether the crowd is small or tens of thousands strong. He also said he once struggled badly with nerves on stage, but has gradually overcome that fear after decades of performing.
That history gives the 2026 arena announcement extra weight. Duran Duran are not returning as a short-lived revival act; they are extending a long-running live career that still connects with fans across generations.
The band’s upcoming BST Hyde Park performance with Scissor Sisters is expected to build further momentum before the autumn arena dates begin. For official scheduling updates, fans can also check Duran Duran’s tour page.
