Dying Light 2, Big Walk and Signalis featured in the PlayStation Plus August 2026 monthly games lineup

PlayStation Plus August 2026 Monthly Games: Full PS5 and PS4 Lineup

Sony has confirmed the PlayStation Plus August 2026 Monthly Games, with Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition, Big Walk and Signalis joining the service. Members can claim the three games from Tuesday, August 4, through Monday, August 31, although local PlayStation Store timing and availability may vary by region.

The selection is available to Essential subscribers and members of higher tiers at no additional charge. It combines open-world zombie action, cooperative exploration and psychological survival horror across PS5 and PS4.

PlayStation Plus August 2026 games list

  • Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition — PS5 and PS4
  • Big Walk — PS5
  • Signalis — PS4

Subscribers must add the games to their library by August 31. Claimed Monthly Games remain linked to the account and can generally be downloaded later, but an active PlayStation Plus membership is required to access them.

Australian players are expected to see the lineup from August 5 local time. Members should check their regional store before the previous monthly selection expires because refresh times can differ.

Dying Light 2 offers four-player co-op

Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition is the headline addition and the only game in the August selection with dedicated PS5 and PS4 versions. Players control Aiden Caldwell, a wanderer caught between rival factions in a city devastated by a virus.

Parkour is central to exploration, allowing Aiden to move across rooftops and avoid infected streets. Combat, alliances and player decisions can influence how parts of the story unfold.

The campaign supports online co-op for up to four participants. A player can host a session or join another world and experience the consequences of its host’s choices, making it the lineup’s strongest option for groups wanting a longer action adventure.

Big Walk is a day-one PS5 release

Big Walk launches on PS5 on August 4 and enters PlayStation Plus on its release day. Developed by House House, the studio behind Untitled Goose Game, it is a social cooperative adventure built around teamwork and communication.

Groups explore an open environment containing puzzles, discoveries and playful tools such as walkie-talkies and binoculars. Proximity voice chat changes how friends sound across distances, through walls and inside different spaces.

The game supports groups of two to 12 online players and includes cross-platform play. Sony lists Big Walk for PS5 only, despite some early reports incorrectly identifying it as a PS4 release.

The day-one addition gives August’s selection a new release alongside two established titles. Previous subscription promotions, games and rewards can be compared in the PlayStation Plus June 2026 lineup.

Signalis adds psychological survival horror

Signalis follows Elster, a technician Replika searching for her missing partner in a dystopian, retro-futuristic world. Its limited resources, environmental puzzles and nightmarish creatures create a slower and more unsettling experience than Dying Light 2.

The PS4 title draws on classic survival-horror design while building its own melancholic cosmic mystery. Its inclusion broadens the lineup for solo players who prefer exploration and puzzle-solving over multiplayer action.

Marvel Tōkon bonus pack arrives August 6

A separate MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls PlayStation Plus Pack becomes available on August 6. It includes five profile avatars inspired by Captain America, Storm, Spider-Man, Doctor Doom and Ghost Rider.

Members can also receive result-screen poses featuring 20 characters, including Spider-Man, Ms. Marvel, Star-Lord and Peni Parker. The pack must be redeemed and downloaded through the PlayStation Store.

The avatars can be used on PS5 or PS4 profiles, while the result-screen poses require the PS5 version of MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls. The pack does not include the game itself and will remain available until August 6, 2027.

Extra and Premium catalog details are still pending

This announcement covers the Monthly Games available across all PlayStation Plus membership tiers. Sony had not yet revealed the separate August Game Catalog additions or removals for Extra, Premium and Deluxe members.

Monthly Games must be claimed within their availability window, while Game Catalog titles rotate in and out under different conditions. The PlayStation Plus April 2026 Extra and Premium lineup shows how those separate catalog updates are structured.

Sony’s official August Monthly Games announcement confirms the claim window, supported platforms and Marvel Tōkon pack conditions. Players should verify each listing through their local PlayStation Store when the new selection becomes available.
