Starbucks launched five Orange Cream beverages in US coffeehouses on July 28, 2026, bringing tangerine, mandarin and vanilla flavours to cold brew, espresso, matcha, chai and a Frappuccino. The limited-time menu arrives with Starbucks x Dandy Worldwide road-trip merchandise sold at select locations in the United States and Canada.
Both releases are available while supplies last. Availability, beverage prices and merchandise inventory may differ by location.
What are the five Orange Cream drinks?
Orange Cream Cold Brew: Starbucks cold brew topped with velvety Orange Cream Cold Foam, creating a contrast between stronger coffee and sweet citrus-vanilla notes.
Iced Orange Cream Latte: Blonde Espresso, milk and orange-vanilla flavour served over ice. It is the collection’s traditional espresso-and-milk option.
Iced Orange Cream Matcha: Matcha, milk and ice topped with Orange Cream Cold Foam, combining earthy matcha with creamy citrus sweetness.
Iced Orange Cream Chai: Spiced chai and milk served over ice with Orange Cream Cold Foam.
Orange Cream Frappuccino: Orange and vanilla flavours blended with milk and ice, poured over whipped cream and finished with another whipped-cream layer.
How did Starbucks develop the flavour?
Starbucks designed the range around orange-and-vanilla frozen treats associated with summer. Beverage developer Kris Murray said the flavour could remind customers of freezer pops, peeling oranges and spending time outdoors.
The team tested several citrus varieties, including sour Seville oranges and berry-like blood oranges, before choosing tangerine and mandarin flavours balanced with sweet vanilla.
The release reflects the broader trend examined in why coffee chains are adding more fruit-flavoured drinks. Citrus allows chains to reach customers seeking refreshment or dessert-style drinks, not only a conventional coffee.
Which drink should customers choose?
- Stronger coffee flavour: Orange Cream Cold Brew.
- Smoother espresso base: Iced Orange Cream Latte.
- Earthy and creamy: Iced Orange Cream Matcha.
- Sweet and spiced: Iced Orange Cream Chai.
- Frozen dessert-style drink: Orange Cream Frappuccino.
The collection expands the company’s Starbucks summer menu for 2026, which has combined coffee with fruit flavours, matcha, cold foam and blended beverages.
Do the drinks contain caffeine or dairy?
The cold brew and latte contain coffee, while matcha and chai naturally contain caffeine. The amount varies by drink and size.
Standard recipes also include milk, cold foam or whipped cream. Selecting a plant-based milk may not make the complete drink dairy-free if the original topping remains. Customers with allergies should check current ingredient information and ask about shared preparation equipment.
Calories, sugar and caffeine can change with size, milk, toppings and customisations. Customers should check the nutrition panel for their exact order in the Starbucks app.
How much do the drinks cost?
Starbucks has not announced one nationwide beverage price. The cost depends on the store, market, size and customisations. The app provides the most accurate local price and indicates whether a selected store can prepare the drink.
The drinks are limited-time items, but Starbucks has not announced a nationwide end date. Ingredients such as Orange Cream Cold Foam could sell out locally before the promotion ends.
