Matthew and Camila McConaughey’s tequila brand is turning a summer cocktail into an adults-only frozen dessert. Pantalones Organic Tequila has partnered with Tipsy Scoop to launch Peaches & Cream Margarita Ice Cream ahead of National Tequila Day on Friday, July 24, 2026.
The limited-edition flavor arrived on July 22 and will remain available through August while supplies last. Customers can buy it at Tipsy Scoop Barlours or order a four-pint package for nationwide delivery.
What is in the Pantalones margarita ice cream?
The dessert combines fresh peach ice cream with Pantalones Organic Reposado Tequila and a hint of lime. It is designed to recreate the creamy, fruity and tart qualities of a peach margarita in scoopable form.
This is genuine liquor-infused ice cream, not an alcohol-free product using cocktail flavoring. Pantalones marketing chief Persia Tatar said the collaboration allowed the brands to serve a summer margarita by the scoop instead of on the rocks.
How much does it cost?
- One scoop: $8.50
- One take-home pint: $16
- Four-pint Goldbelly package: $109.95
The nationwide package costs more than four in-store pints because frozen delivery requires insulated packaging and temperature-controlled handling. Customers should confirm delivery eligibility, charges and arrival times during checkout.
No free-scoop promotion or National Tequila Day coupon has been announced. That differs from promotions such as the recent McDonald’s free food and McValue Pack deal, which included scheduled giveaways and an online offer.
Where can customers buy it?
The flavor is available at Tipsy Scoop Barlours in markets including Manhattan, Brooklyn, Astoria, Philadelphia, Washington, Baltimore, Nashville, Pensacola and Portland.
Inventory can vary by store, and the flavor could sell out before the end of August. Customers should contact their nearest location before traveling.
Those without a nearby Barlour can order the four-pint package through Goldbelly. No supermarket or major grocery-chain rollout has been announced.
The dates, prices and Dallas expansion are included in the companies’ official collaboration announcement.
How much alcohol does it contain?
Tipsy Scoop says its boozy ice creams can contain up to 5% alcohol by volume. However, the precise ABV of the Pantalones Peaches & Cream flavor has not been disclosed.
The product is restricted to customers aged 21 and older. Identification may be required in stores, while an adult signature may be needed for delivery. Freezing does not remove the alcohol, so it should not be served to children.
Is it dairy-free or vegan?
The peach-and-cream flavor is dairy-based. The companies have not published a complete allergen statement, so customers with allergies or dietary restrictions should contact Tipsy Scoop before ordering.
Tipsy Scoop also offers alcohol-free products for children and people who do not drink, but those should not be confused with the Pantalones flavor.
What is the Dallas Margarita Sorbet?
Later in summer 2026, Tipsy Scoop will introduce Pantalones Dallas Margarita Sorbet at its new Barlour at 506 N. Bishop Avenue in Dallas’ Bishop Arts District.
The Dallas-exclusive product will combine citrus sorbet, Pantalones Organic Reposado Tequila, orange liqueur and fresh lime juice. Unlike the peach ice cream, it will be dairy-free, gluten-free and vegan.
It will cost $8.50 per scoop or $16 per pint. The sorbet is planned as a permanent Dallas menu item rather than a short promotion, although a firm opening date has not been announced.

What tequila is used?
Pantalones Organic Reposado Tequila is made from 100% organic blue Weber agave in Jalisco, Mexico. It rests for nine months in American oak whiskey barrels and carries notes associated with cooked agave, vanilla, caramel, fruit and toasted oak.
Matthew and Camila McConaughey launched Pantalones in October 2023 with blanco, reposado and añejo tequilas. Its lighthearted campaigns have included the 2024 “How to Lose Your Pants in 10 Ways” movie parody and the 2026 “Official Tequila of Riding Bareback” Valentine’s advertisement.
Why the collaboration matters
The release gives Pantalones a way to reach customers beyond bottled spirits while fitting Tipsy Scoop’s cocktail-inspired dessert business. It also follows a broader trend of beverage flavors moving into unexpected foods, including the recent Cheez-It and Coors Light beer-cheese crackers.
The peach ice cream is temporary and scheduled to leave menus after August. The forthcoming Dallas sorbet will be permanent, but initially limited to one location. Both are alcoholic products reserved for adults aged 21 and older.
