Winter weather is disrupting classrooms across Atlantic Canada this morning, with multiple school districts announcing closures, early dismissals and transportation delays as deteriorating road conditions move through the region.
Environment forecasts warning of hazardous driving conditions and snowfall accumulation have prompted precautionary measures across Nova Scotia and parts of New Brunswick.

What Parents Should Know
Officials are urging families to monitor local school board websites and official social media channels for updates throughout the day, as weather conditions may change.
Transportation delays, early dismissals, or additional closures could be announced if road conditions worsen.
Students and staff are reminded to prioritize safety when travelling and to allow extra time if commuting in affected areas.
