Netflix’s The Gentlemen Season 3 is bringing eight new stars into Guy Ritchie’s crime drama, with Orlando Bloom, Elijah Wood and Robert Carlyle joining the cast as production gets underway in the United Kingdom and Morocco.
The new additions come as the series prepares to expand Eddie Horniman and Susie Glass’s criminal empire into the Middle East. The upcoming season will also feature returning favorites, a major cast departure and an ambitious new storyline involving a casino venture.
The Gentlemen Season 3 Cast: All 8 New Stars
The newly announced cast brings together Hollywood names, established British actors and performers familiar with Guy Ritchie’s crime films.
- Orlando Bloom: Known for The Lord of the Rings and Pirates of the Caribbean.
- Elijah Wood: Best known for portraying Frodo Baggins in The Lord of the Rings.
- Robert Carlyle: Star of Trainspotting, The Full Monty and Once Upon a Time.
- Dexter Fletcher: Actor and filmmaker known for Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Rocketman.
- Bruna Marquezine: Brazilian actress who appeared in DC’s Blue Beetle.
- Ed Speleers: Known for Downton Abbey, Outlander and You.
- Saffron Burrows: Actress whose credits include Deep Blue Sea and Mozart in the Jungle.
- Bugzy Malone: British rapper and actor who appeared in Ritchie’s 2019 film The Gentlemen.
Bloom and Wood previously appeared together in The Lord of the Rings films, making their reunion particularly notable. Malone’s involvement also connects the television production to Ritchie’s original movie.
The new actors’ individual character names and their roles in the criminal storyline have not yet been disclosed.
Season 3 Plot Reveals Middle East Casino Expansion
The third season reportedly follows Eddie Horniman, played by Theo James, and Susie Glass, played by Kaya Scodelario, as they pursue an ambitious casino development in the Middle East.
The proposed venture marks another expansion for Eddie, whose criminal involvement began after inheriting an English country estate operating as a secret cannabis production site.
Following the international developments of Season 2, the casino storyline could introduce powerful new business partners and rivals. However, Netflix has not confirmed which newcomers will play those characters.
Returning Cast and Daniel Ings’ Departure
The returning lineup reportedly includes Theo James, Kaya Scodelario, Ray Winstone, Joely Richardson and Vinnie Jones.
Jasmine Blackborow, Harry Goodwins, Benjamin Clementine and Maya Jama are also expected to return.
One significant change is the absence of Daniel Ings, who portrayed Eddie’s older brother, Freddy Horniman. Ings has confirmed he will not return for Season 3, bringing his character’s involvement in the series to an end.
Freddy’s unpredictable behavior was central to the show’s family conflicts. His departure leaves questions about how Eddie’s relationships and responsibilities will change.

Netflix has not announced an official release date for Season 3. No premiere month or trailer launch date has been confirmed.
Season 1 debuted in March 2024, followed by Season 2 in September 2026. Although production is progressing, any suggested 2027 or 2028 release window remains speculative.
For other television developments, the Glee reboot on Disney+ and Hulu and upcoming Heated Rivalry theatrical screenings are among the latest entertainment stories attracting attention.
Eight New Stars Set Up a Bigger Crime Story for Season 3
The expanded cast gives Ritchie opportunities to introduce new criminal rivals, influential investors and competing interests as Eddie and Susie enter unfamiliar territory.
With Freddy absent and Eddie increasingly drawn toward power, the next season faces an important challenge: maintaining the show’s original family tensions while expanding its international crime storyline.
Viewers are now awaiting character announcements, a first-look trailer and an official Netflix premiere date.
