In Maharashtra’s Aurangabad, fourteen migrant workers were killed and five others injured after an empty rake of goods carriage ran over some people on Friday.The incident took place at 5.15 am when workers were returning to madhya pradesh and were sleeping on railroad tracks.
Workers started walking towards Aurangabad from Jalna which is 65 km , to catch the train for their homtown ,they decide to walk along the tracks to hide themselves from police paroling. After feeling exhausted ,workers slept along rail side tracks and in morning Goods train carrying petrol and diesel from Nanded to Manmad ran over these workers .14 migrants were died on the spot and 5 were injured.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his condolences at the deaths of the people and assured the affected people of all possible support. He said Railways Minister Piyush Goyal tracking the situation closely.

After the accident ,The loco pilot told the railway authorities and local police immediately along with the Railway Protection Force (RPF) arrived at the location. All those wounded were taken to hospital.
