Gunfire reported near Harry Reid International Airport
The incident generated widespread attention because the shooting unfolded close to Harry Reid International Airport.

Early scanner and social-media reports also claimed gunfire was directed toward police air units, but that specific detail has not been confirmed in the official accounts reviewed so far.
