Discord has finally launched its own “Wrapped” – a personalised year-in-review called Checkpoint. Here’s how to see your recap, what’s inside it, and why some users still can’t find it.
After years of watching Spotify Wrapped dominate social feeds every December, Discord has finally joined the party. The chat platform’s new feature, Discord Checkpoint 2025, is a full year-in-review that turns your messages, voice chats and gaming sessions into a colourful highlight reel.
If you’ve already checked out Spotify Wrapped 2025, Discord’s new recap feels instantly familiar — except this one focuses on your communities, conversations and time spent in servers rather than your playlists.
The feature is rolling out now and users across PC, Mac and browser are already sharing bright green recap cards in their servers. But many are also typing the same question into Google: “Where do I actually find my Discord Checkpoint?”
What is Discord Checkpoints, exactly?
Checkpoint is Discord’s first official year-end recap. It pulls together your 2025 activity and turns it into a swipe-style story similar to Spotify Wrapped and YouTube Music Recap.
Each recap may include:
- Total messages sent
- Time spent in voice chats
- Your most active servers
- Friends you talk to most
- Games linked to your account
- Most-used emojis and reactions
At the end, you receive a personalised Checkpoint card and an exclusive avatar decoration that stays on your profile until mid-January 2026.
Discord has published a full official explainer about how the feature works, what data it uses, and who gets a recap. You can read the announcement directly on Discord’s blog here.
How to view your Discord Checkpoint on desktop or browser
- Update Discord
Make sure you’re on the latest version of Discord on desktop or web. - Click the flag icon
Look for a small flag symbol at the top-right corner of the app window. - Swipe through your recap
Follow the slides to see your stats and final Checkpoint card.
Some users will also receive a pop-up saying “Your Checkpoint is ready” when opening Discord — clicking it takes you directly to the recap.
Why mobile users can’t see Checkpoints
Many users expect to see their recap inside the mobile app — but Discord has quietly confirmed that Checkpoint is currently limited to desktop and web versions.
If you’re tapping around on mobile and can’t see anything under your profile or settings, this is normal for now. Your best option is to log in via a browser or PC and use the flag icon.
Why some users don’t get a recap
You may not get a Checkpoint if:
- You were mostly inactive in 2025
- You previously disabled data personalisation
To check, go to: User Settings → Data & Privacy and ensure personalisation is enabled. This won’t restore missing Checkpoints for 2025, but matters going forward.
What your recap really shows
Your Checkpoint highlights habits, not messages. Discord says it tracks usage numbers — not content. It reveals patterns: who you spent time with, which servers mattered, and how Discord fits into your daily life.
Like Spotify Wrapped, the data is personal, revealing and oddly emotional. And also like Wrapped, it’s designed for sharing — but you’re never required to post it.
Should you share it?
Sharing is built-in. Posting your Checkpoint drops a colourful card into chat — but you should still pause before sharing publicly.
- Avoid exposing private communities
- Don’t overshare with large servers
- Be cautious if you’re under 18
Used carefully, Checkpoints can feel like a joyful digital yearbook — a snapshot of friendships, late-night calls, and the servers that became home.
So if you’ve been hunting for your Discord Wrapped… update the app, click the flag, and see what your Checkpoint says about your year.
