Updated: July 3, 2026
Krispy Kreme is marking America’s 250th birthday with free doughnuts, patriotic flavors and special July 4 savings. The doughnut chain is giving customers wearing red, white and blue a free Original Glazed doughnut on Independence Day while rolling out a limited-time Fourth of July Collection featuring two new doughnuts and two returning favorites.
The Independence Day promotion comes as families across the U.S. prepare for backyard barbecues, fireworks, watch parties and holiday gatherings. Krispy Kreme says its patriotic doughnuts and deals are designed to help make the milestone celebration “even sweeter.”
Along with the free July 4 giveaway, the company is also offering an Original Glazed dozen for $2.50 with a qualifying purchase from July 2 through July 5.
How to Get a Free Krispy Kreme Doughnut on July 4
Customers can receive one free Original Glazed doughnut on Saturday, July 4, by visiting a participating Krispy Kreme shop while wearing red, white and blue.
No purchase is required for the freebie, but the offer is limited to one doughnut per guest and is available only at participating shops while supplies last.
$2.50 Original Glazed Dozen Deal
Krispy Kreme is also bringing back a holiday savings offer for customers buying treats for groups. From July 2 through July 5, customers can get an Original Glazed dozen for just $2.50 with the purchase of any regular-priced dozen doughnuts or a 16-count Minis box.
Customers ordering through the Krispy Kreme app or website must use promo code USA at checkout. Online pickup and delivery orders are limited to one discounted dozen per order, while in-shop and drive-thru orders are limited to two discounted dozens per guest.
Fourth of July Collection Includes Four Patriotic Doughnuts
Krispy Kreme’s 2026 Fourth of July Collection includes four themed doughnuts created for America’s 250th birthday celebration. The lineup features two brand-new items and two returning seasonal favorites.
- USA Doughnut: A new unglazed shell doughnut filled with Cookies n’ Kreme, dipped in bright red icing and decorated with patriotic stars and a USA sugar piece.
- Firework Doughnut: A new Original Glazed doughnut topped with vanilla-flavored icing, edible gold glitter and a firecracker sugar decoration.
- Freedom Ring Doughnut: An Original Glazed doughnut dipped in white icing, topped with blue sprinkles and white star decorations, then finished with red icing stripes.
- Chocolate Iced with Patriotic Sprinkles: An Original Glazed doughnut dipped in chocolate icing and topped with festive red, white and blue sprinkles.
The collection is available for a limited time in Krispy Kreme shops, individually, by the dozen, and through the Krispy Kreme app and website for pickup or delivery. Select retailers will also carry the collection in special six-pack boxes.
Why the 2026 Promotion Stands Out
This year’s Independence Day launch carries extra attention because it is tied to the nation’s 250th birthday. Krispy Kreme Chief Brand and Product Officer Alison Holder said the company’s patriotic doughnuts and holiday deals are meant to help bring more fun to celebrations wherever people are gathering.
The limited-time menu also fits Krispy Kreme’s broader strategy of building seasonal excitement around holidays and cultural moments. Earlier this year, the company introduced a space-inspired lineup tied to NASA’s Artemis II mission. You can read more about the Krispy Kreme Artemis II doughnut collection.

What Customers Should Know Before Ordering
The free Original Glazed giveaway is available only on July 4 for guests wearing patriotic colors. The $2.50 dozen deal runs from July 2 through July 5, with promo code USA required for online pickup and delivery orders.
Because the Fourth of July Collection is available for a limited time, popular locations may sell out of select doughnuts during the holiday weekend. Customers planning to serve the doughnuts at parties or family gatherings may want to order early.
Participating shops, menu availability and full promotion details are available on the official Krispy Kreme July 4 page.
