Olivia Rodrigo is taking on a new role beyond performing and recording music with the launch of Daisy Chain Fields Festival, a one-day event celebrating women in music while raising money for charities that support women and girls. The inaugural festival is scheduled for August 29, 2026, at Great Park in Irvine, California, and will feature an all-female lineup spanning pop, indie rock, punk and alternative music.
Rodrigo will headline the festival alongside Chappell Roan, Doechii, Katseye, Mitski, Garbage, Bikini Kill, The Breeders, Rachel Chinouriri, Die Spitz, Eli, Quiet Light and Not for Radio. Special appearances by Stevie Nicks, Karen O and Sarah McLachlan add artists whose careers have influenced generations of performers.
Unlike many celebrity-backed festivals, Daisy Chain Fields has a charitable goal built into its foundation. Organizers say 100% of net proceeds will be donated to nonprofit organizations focused on healthcare, education, legal advocacy and community support for women and girls.
A Lineup That Brings Together Multiple Generations
The festival reflects how women continue to shape today’s music industry across different genres. Olivia Rodrigo, Chappell Roan and Doechii have become some of the most influential artists among younger audiences, while performers including Mitski have built dedicated followings through alternative music.
At the same time, appearances from Stevie Nicks, Sarah McLachlan and Karen O connect the event with decades of women-led musical achievements. Instead of focusing on one style, the lineup combines mainstream pop, indie, rock, punk and singer-songwriter performances throughout the day.

Daisy Chain Fields is designed to function as more than a music festival. Rodrigo announced that all net proceeds will benefit organizations working to improve the lives of women and girls in areas including maternal health, reproductive healthcare, education, legal protection and economic opportunity.
Partner organizations include Baby2Baby, Black Mamas Matter Alliance, Center for Reproductive Rights, FreeFrom, Jhpiego, Johns Hopkins Center for Indigenous Health, National Domestic Workers Alliance, National Institute for Reproductive Health, National Women’s Law Center and Planned Parenthood.
Festival organizers have additionally planned art installations, interactive experiences and participation from women-owned businesses and community groups, giving the event a broader community focus beyond the concert stage.

Johns Hopkins Programs Among the Beneficiaries
Two of the nonprofit partners—Jhpiego and the Johns Hopkins Center for Indigenous Health—have direct connections to Johns Hopkins University. Both organizations work on projects related to maternal health, public health education and healthcare access for underserved communities.
The Center for Indigenous Health has recently faced financial pressure following reductions in federal funding, making private fundraising efforts increasingly important. Support from events such as Daisy Chain Fields could help sustain community health initiatives.
One program highlighted during the festival announcement is Family Spirit, which provides guidance and early childhood support for young parents during pregnancy and the first years of a child’s life.
Rodrigo Expands Her Career Beyond Music
