In-N-Out Burger is adding six new restaurants across five U.S. states, with upcoming locations confirmed in California, Arizona, Idaho, Tennessee and Utah. The expansion gives fans in several growing markets a clearer look at where the chain is headed next, though official opening dates have not yet been announced.
The new restaurants appear on In-N-Out Burger’s official Grand Openings page as “Opening Soon.” That means the sites are confirmed by the company, but customers should wait for final opening announcements before planning a visit.
The update is especially important for customers in Twin Falls, Idaho, and St. George, Utah, where the new restaurants will expand In-N-Out’s reach beyond its most familiar local clusters. California will also receive two additional stores, showing the chain is still strengthening its home-state footprint while moving carefully into newer markets.
Complete List of In-N-Out Burger Locations Opening Soon
In-N-Out has listed six upcoming restaurants across five states:
- Commerce, California: 6233 Telegraph Ave., Commerce, CA 90040
- Stockton, California: 10537 Trinity Pkwy., Stockton, CA 95219
- San Tan Valley, Arizona: 33375 N. Gary Rd., San Tan Valley, AZ 85143
- Twin Falls, Idaho: 1965 Blue Lakes Blvd. North, Twin Falls, ID 83301
- Madison, Tennessee: 1900 Gallatin Pike North, Madison, TN 37115
- St. George, Utah: 4643 S. Pioneer Rd., St. George, UT 84790
The company has not provided exact opening dates for any of the six restaurants. Hiring updates, first-day traffic details and store hours are expected to become clearer closer to each launch.
St. George Adds a New Southern Utah Restaurant
The planned St. George restaurant will be located at 4643 South Pioneer Road. While Washington County already has an In-N-Out presence, the St. George site gives the city its own restaurant and is expected to become the chain’s southernmost location in Utah.
Utah currently has 14 In-N-Out restaurants. The new St. George location could be useful not only for local residents, but also for visitors and drivers moving through southern Utah toward Nevada, Arizona or national park destinations.
Twin Falls Becomes a Key Idaho Expansion Point
The Twin Falls restaurant is one of the most notable additions because it will be Idaho’s first In-N-Out location outside the Boise metropolitan area. The new restaurant is planned for 1965 Blue Lakes Blvd. North.
Idaho currently has three In-N-Out restaurants. Adding Twin Falls gives the chain a wider presence across southern Idaho and brings the brand closer to customers who previously had to travel toward the Boise area.
California Still Gets New In-N-Out Growth
Even as In-N-Out expands into newer states, California remains central to the company’s growth. The two upcoming California restaurants are planned for Commerce and Stockton.
The Commerce restaurant at 6233 Telegraph Ave. will add another location in the greater Los Angeles region, where the brand has long been part of local fast-food culture. The Stockton restaurant at 10537 Trinity Pkwy. will strengthen the chain’s reach in Northern California’s Central Valley.
Arizona and Tennessee Locations Broaden the Map
In Arizona, the upcoming restaurant at 33375 N. Gary Road in San Tan Valley adds another option in a fast-growing community southeast of the Phoenix area.
In Tennessee, the Madison restaurant at 1900 Gallatin Pike North reflects In-N-Out’s continued movement into markets farther from its West Coast roots. Tennessee is one of the company’s newer expansion states compared with California, Nevada, Arizona and Utah.
Recent Colorado Opening Shows the Rollout Is Active
The six upcoming restaurants follow the opening of In-N-Out’s Timnath, Colorado, location near Fort Collins on June 24, 2026. That recent opening shows the company’s expansion is already moving, even though the next six restaurants still do not have public launch dates.
The timing also comes during a mixed period for the restaurant industry. Some chains are cutting underperforming stores, while others are expanding in carefully selected markets. Why In-N-Out Expands More Slowly Than Rivals
In-N-Out was founded in 1948 by Harry and Esther Snyder in Baldwin Park, California. The company began as a small burger stand and is closely associated with the early development of drive-thru hamburger service.
Today, In-N-Out has more than 400 restaurants across 10 states: California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Colorado, Idaho, Washington and Tennessee.
Unlike many major fast-food brands, In-N-Out does not franchise its restaurants. That business model helps explain why expansion can appear slower than other chains. The company keeps direct control over operations, which can make each new opening more closely managed.
What Customers Should Know Now
The confirmed news is that six new In-N-Out Burger restaurants are on the way across five U.S. states. California is getting two locations, while Arizona, Idaho, Tennessee and Utah are each getting one.
Customers should not assume the restaurants are open yet. The locations are listed as opening soon, and no official opening dates have been released. Until then, the safest way to track each launch is through In-N-Out’s official location updates.
