National Avocado Day Deals 2026: Where to Get Free Guac and BOGO Meals

National Avocado Day has arrived with free guacamole, buy-one-get-one entrées and app-exclusive discounts on Friday, July 31, 2026. Chipotle, Qdoba, Del Taco, Farmer Boys, Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, Moe’s Southwest Grill and Tocaya are among the participating restaurant chains.

Some promotions continue through the weekend, but most require a qualifying purchase, rewards membership, promotional code or digital order. Customers should confirm participation and check that the discount appears before paying.

When is National Avocado Day 2026?

National Avocado Day is observed on July 31. In 2026, it falls on a Friday, allowing several restaurants to extend their offers through Saturday or Sunday.

The avocado is widely used in burritos, burgers, salads, poke bowls and guacamole. The Hass Avocado Board projected that annual US avocado volume would surpass three billion pounds, demonstrating the size of the market.

Chipotle: Free chips and guacamole

Chipotle customers can receive free regular chips and guacamole from July 31 through August 1. They must buy a full-priced entrée through the Chipotle website or app, add chips and guacamole as one complete side and enter AVO2026 at checkout.

The promotion is available at participating restaurants in the United States and Canada. Kids’ meals do not qualify. In-restaurant purchases, catering, Burritos by the Box and third-party delivery orders are excluded.

The code is limited to one use per eligible transaction, cannot be combined with another promotion and remains subject to availability. Full conditions are available on Chipotle’s official National Avocado Day page.

Chipotle says its hand-mashed guacamole contains Hass avocados, salt, lime juice, cilantro, jalapeño and red onion.

Qdoba: Buy one entrée and get another free

Qdoba Rewards members can receive a free entrée after purchasing a full-sized entrée and a drink on July 31 or August 1. Gold-status members received early access beginning July 30.

The free entrée must be of equal or lower value, and quesadillas are excluded. Eligible members should find the offer in their Rewards Wallet.

For online and app orders, members must sign in, add two entrées and a drink, and select the offer at checkout. In a restaurant, they can scan their rewards QR code or provide the phone number attached to their account.

The deal excludes alcohol, catering and third-party delivery. It is limited to one redemption per customer per transaction at participating locations in the US, Canada and Puerto Rico.

Del Taco: BOGO Epic Fresh Guac Burritos

Del Taco customers can purchase an Epic Fresh Guac Burrito and receive another free from July 30 through August 2.

Its guacamole is made with Hass avocados, pico de gallo, lime juice and seasoning. Participation and redemption rules may vary, so customers should check Del Taco’s ordering platform or rewards app.

More National Avocado Day offers

Farmer Boys: VIF Rewards members can save $3 on the signature Farmer’s Burger when ordering online or through the app from July 31 to August 1.

Fuzzy’s Taco Shop: App customers can receive free chips and guacamole with code AVODAY. The chain is also promoting its new Cali-Style Steak Taco with house-made guacamole.

Moe’s Southwest Grill: Customers can receive a free side of guacamole with an entrée purchase on July 31. Rewards members received early access beginning July 28 with code AVODAY26.

Tocaya: Rewards members can receive free chips and guacamole after spending at least $15 on July 31.

Which offers last through the weekend?

Chipotle, Qdoba and Farmer Boys continue their promotions through Saturday, August 1. Del Taco’s BOGO offer runs through Sunday, August 2. The advertised Fuzzy’s, Moe’s and Tocaya deals focus on July 31 unless a location states otherwise.

Customers looking for other food promotions can compare these offers with the recent National Cheesecake Day restaurant deals.

Why rewards membership matters

Many food-day promotions encourage customers to order directly through restaurant apps. A rewards account may be required to activate an offer, while third-party delivery purchases often do not qualify.

Deadlines and ordering conditions are also important for other limited-time promotions, including the latest GMA Deals & Steals offers.

What to check before ordering

Customers should verify the dates, participating location, minimum purchase, rewards requirement and promotional code. Every qualifying item should be added before applying the offer.

Taxes, service charges and delivery fees may still apply. Most deals cannot be combined with other discounts and are limited to one redemption while supplies last. Check the final total before submitting payment.
