

Minneapolis — The woman shot and killed by a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent in Minneapolis has been identified by her mother as Renee Nicole Good, a 37-year-old Twin Cities mother.
Speaking to local media, Good’s mother described her daughter as exceptionally kind and compassionate.
“Renee was one of the kindest people I’ve ever known,” her mother said. “She was extremely compassionate. She’s taken care of people all her life. She was loving, forgiving, and affectionate. She was an amazing human being.”
Family members said Good was a mother and a wife, as well as a poet and writer who expressed herself through words and creativity.
The shooting occurred during a federal enforcement operation, and the incident remains under investigation by authorities. The death has sparked protests and renewed scrutiny of immigration enforcement practices.
