Lewis Capaldi has turned the final stretch of his North American tour into a surprise release for fans, dropping a new four-track live EP titled Live From North America.
The project arrived almost immediately after the tour wrapped, giving listeners a quick snapshot of some of the biggest and most emotional moments from his latest run across the U.S. and Canada. For Capaldi, the release feels less like a standard live EP and more like a thank-you note to the fans who helped make this chapter one of the most important of his career.
The EP is available across digital platforms, with limited physical editions also being offered. Fans can also buy it as part of a T-shirt bundle, while a limited-edition vinyl version is being sold for only 72 hours, ending Monday, May 11, at 11 a.m. ET.
Capaldi said he wanted to mark the tour while the memories were still fresh, telling fans that he had âthe best tourâ of his life in North America and wanted to share live recordings from some of his favourite shows with those who could not attend.
Why Live From North America matters for Lewis Capaldiâs comeback
The release comes at a powerful moment in Capaldiâs career. After stepping away from touring in 2023 to focus on his health, the Scottish singer-songwriter has returned to the stage with a renewed sense of purpose. His latest tour has not only shown his commercial strength but also reminded fans why his voice and honesty made him one of popâs most relatable stars.
The opening track, âPointless (2026 Version),â was recorded at Madison Square Garden, marking Capaldiâs biggest U.S. headline show so far. The new version gives the 2022 ballad a heavier live identity, moving away from the softer piano-and-strings feel of the original and building around distorted guitar, a full-band arrangement and a huge arena finish.
The song already had a strong emotional pull, but the live version makes it feel bigger and more urgent. With the Madison Square Garden crowd behind him, Capaldi turns a romantic ballad into a stadium-sized sing-along without losing the vulnerability that made the track connect in the first place.
Another major moment on the EP is âStay Love,â a new single that Capaldi introduced during the tour. Recorded during his two-night stop at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, the performance brings a more stripped-back feel to the project. It highlights the part of Capaldiâs live shows that often lands hardest: his ability to hold a large venue with little more than his voice and emotional delivery.
The EP then moves into âHollywood (2026 Version),â an updated take on a song from his 2019 debut album Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent. Recorded at the Hollywood Bowl, the track connects his early breakthrough era with his current return, giving longtime fans a familiar song through a newer, larger live lens.
The closing track, âForget Me,â recorded at Torontoâs Scotiabank Arena, brings the crowd fully into the release. The sing-along energy gives the EP a natural ending and captures the kind of audience connection that has defined Capaldiâs return to touring.

Big UK shows and a major 2026 run ahead
The timing of Live From North America also helps build momentum for Capaldiâs next major run of shows. He is preparing for an extensive European summer schedule, including two sold-out nights at BST Hyde Park in London. Each show has a reported capacity of around 65,000 fans, making them the biggest UK concerts of his career so far.
Those Hyde Park dates will feature support from Conan Gray, Jacob Alon and Absolutely on both days. The Vaccines are also set to appear on July 11, with more special guests still expected for the second date.
Capaldiâs 2026 numbers underline how strong his comeback has become. He has already sold 1 million tickets this year alone, a major achievement for an artist whose return has been followed closely by fans and the wider music industry.
The live EP follows his recent Survive Deluxe EP, which added âStay Loveâ to a tracklist that already included âSurvive,â âSomething In The Heavens,â âAlmostâ and âThe Day That I Die.â Those songs explore heartbreak, grief, endurance and recovery, themes that have become central to this new phase of Capaldiâs career.
âSurviveâ has already become one of his biggest recent milestones. The track was named the UKâs fastest-selling single of 2025 and became Capaldiâs sixth No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart, placing him in the same chart company as names such as BeyoncĂŠ, Britney Spears, Drake, Lady Gaga and Queen.
For fans following his comeback, the EP works as both a live souvenir and a statement of where Capaldi stands now. It captures an artist who is still built around heartbreak ballads and self-deprecating charm, but who now appears more comfortable turning those intimate songs into large-scale moments.
