Fast-food favorite Whataburger has introduced a new limited-time value menu for 2026, rolling out nationwide at participating locations beginning Tuesday, January 6. The promotion, branded as the “Whatadeal” menu, is designed to offer affordable options without cutting back on familiar flavors.
What’s Included in the New Whatadeal Menu
According to the company’s announcement, the Whatadeal menu is built around three budget-friendly price tiers—$3, $4, and $5—each featuring a different item:
- $3 Big Ranch Wrap: A warm flour tortilla filled with a Whatachick’n strip, fresh vegetables, American cheese, and creamy buttermilk ranch sauce.
- $4 Whatachick’n Bites (5-piece): Five crispy chicken bites meant for dipping, sharing, or enjoying on their own.
- $5 Bacon & Cheese Whataburger Jr.: A junior-size burger topped with a beef patty, crispy bacon, and melted cheese.
Customers can turn any of these items into a meal by adding small fries and a small drink for an additional $2.49.
The new offerings are available through drive-thru service, dine-in orders, online purchases, and the Whataburger mobile app. Because the menu is only available for a limited time, customers are encouraged to confirm participation with their local restaurant.

Whataburger’s Message Behind the Launch
Scott Hudler, senior vice president and chief marketing officer, said the Whatadeal menu reflects the brand’s long-standing focus on value and quality. He noted that the goal is to make fresh, satisfying food easy to enjoy without stretching customers’ budgets.
The company echoed that sentiment on social media, teasing the promotion with the message: “Three prices. Three cravings. Zero regrets.”
While no official end date has been announced, Whataburger says the menu will remain available only while supplies last.
More Recent Whataburger Initiatives
The value menu rollout follows another recent announcement from the company—a new $600,000 scholarship program created in partnership with Dr Pepper. The initiative will award $5,000 scholarships to 120 students enrolled in colleges, universities, or nonprofit vocational schools. Funds may be used for tuition, books, or other education-related expenses.
Allie Watters, senior manager of community relations, said the program is aimed at helping students continue their education without financial barriers, reinforcing the brand’s broader commitment to community support.
