Morning rituals for a perfect start to your day

When you wake up in the morning do you start your day with gratitude?

Do you have morning rituals you like to follow or a morning routine? Do You set the tone for your whole day with your first thoughts and actions when you wake? So make sure they are good ones!

Try to start every day with clear intentions. Make sure there is purpose and structure to your day.

Here are my quick 6 routine rituals.

Get up early

Set your alarm. Get up early. Open your curtains and make your bed this has been my habit now as since childhood I have been parents doing so it’s good habits and helps you in the long term.

Waking up at a regular time each day is great news for your body clock. Although lying in late on your days off and weekends might seem like a great idea it also as it off our natural sleep cycle making it harder for us to get a good night’s sleep.

Try to stick to a regular bedtime and wake time to ensure you get the best sleep possible. And always open your curtains and make your bed. This small act every morning will help set the tone for your whole day to be more organized and efficient.

Move your body

Get your body moving every morning. Whether its a slow gentle walk, 20 minutes of yoga, or a more energetic run around the park. Whatever it is your body needs each morning, get out, and do it.

It may not be top of your most-wanted list in the mornings but trust me, you will feel so energized when you are done and it will bring whole new energy to your life.

Meditation and thankfulness

Starting your day with a morning meditation can give you the best opportunity to start your day fully awake and aware of yourself and your surroundings. Let go of your inner self and clear your mind for a short while. At the end of my meditation, I like to think about everything in my life I am grateful for. This gratitude practice helps me to set the tone for the day with a positive mindset.

Healthy eating:

A healthy wholesome breakfast will kick start your day the right way and never miss on your first meal. Your first meal is the most important meal of the day. Eating the right breakfast will give you more energy and kick start your metabolism to burn more calories. It will also allow you better memory, concentration, and focus throughout the day. So avoid the trap of skipping breakfast and add it to your morning rituals every day. To make it easier to incorporate breakfast into your morning you can prepare some easy nutritious breakfasts advance overnight. Also, Don’t forget to drink plenty of water ( at least 2 liters a day) and take your vitamins.

Shower and put on an outfit you love

A morning shower always helps me to feel more energized and awake. The ritual of the water washing away the previous day feels like I am starting afresh. For an extra benefit try blasting yourself with a few seconds of cold water just before you get out to help close your pores and boost circulation. Once you are showered put on an outfit that makes you feel amazing! So many people save their “best” clothes for special occasions but I am a firm believer that the clothes you wear every day should make you feel great.

Set your goals and intentions for the day. When you are all set for the day and Pen it down it takes you ahead and clears your intensions and lets you focus on so.

Sit and plan your intentions for the day.

What do you want to achieve? What are your main aims and goals? Set a small number of achievable goals for the day and write them down. Your day will have a better structure and purpose if you are clear on your intentions. Tick your achievements off throughout the day as you go along.
