Let’s keep our beauty beyond weight

A few weeks ago I got married, Even though I wasn’t the best bride in the planning thankfully I carried it all well. Also, now my husband and me -we realized we had a great time with lots of laughs and some very good stories. A couple of stories are that the back closure of where I wore a skirt on my head and called myself a Nun – Ha! After the wedding, I was joking with a friend of mine and thankfully I was not conscious about my body image and they were behind me. But let me tell you, this carefree, I like myself and I look fat from certain body parts and its ok attitude isn’t something that happened overnight.

I consciously decided to cultivate this outlook every day because quite frankly, I was over ending up love for my butter and fats, which my mother always told me I had no limit in eating- Ma (but down the line she lets me eat) And even though I was never really alone – I had a wonderful dad and sister participating with me, so if you don’t like yourself or your body, you feel shameful about your relationship with food and you feel alone.

Today I am writing to let you know that you re not alone. You need to be embarrassed. You can begin to change your relationship with food and your body. I came across many people like me who suffer from the problem of accepting themselves. Thankfully, I love myself now. People live in the depression of facing the outer world because they are ashamed of their body type or something else which can be many in today’s world ah- Mess!! The effective points I would like to point is we need to look beyond our looks, color, and body type, please. Don’t focus too much on the weighing scale, and by running near the doctors keep yourself healthy and have a cheat day in a week, accept your body and be happy, because more than your weight and your face your health matters (mental and physical state).

So, once you accept yourself half of the mess is clean and also never fall for the social media trends it’s a fuss! Never give up on liking yourself. These days people so end up correcting themselves with the doctor to like themselves- believe this you pay to look good.

When you really look around and see real bodies in all different stages and phases of life, you open yourself up to be able to see your body with more love and gratitude. We need to change our attitude towards our bodies. I would suggest attempting a healthy lifestyle by setting up short term achievable goals. To make an honest living you should first change your mindset to beat any setbacks that are being faced by you.

So if you are still reading this, treat your body and yourself with some kindness- OK? Because you can’t seriously change anything through a lens of hate, embarrassment or shame, but you can through love.
